I am a DM who wants to play in a campaign where I can really get into my character for a good long while. I have lots of experience as a DM and thus know a decent bit of the rules, but regrettably little experience as a player. That being said, I am experienced in the game and happy to help if it's needed, but have no problem playing with those who are newer. What I'm Looking For: I really enjoy getting into character and roleplaying, especially if we can take an active role in the game and change up the world and how we go about things rather than having one specific course or having everything handed to us. I also really enjoy working on my character outside of the game and am quick to respond and keep up good communication. Ultimately, D&D is escapism for me so I would prefer a game with little to no focus on modern issues. Give me a dragon to slay or pure evil, mustache twirling villain. I'm not much for debating the moral ramifications and whether the villain is a villain or not. Finally, I would enjoy homebrew, especially a homebrew world. I also quite enjoy researching things as a character and learning lore. Character homebrew would be great as well but neither are a must. What I usually play: I tend to play support or utility when I get to play, but honestly I'd be fine with most things. My main thing is like for my backstory to matter at least a little and I like to have a decent number of options. Not really looking for a game where my only "choice" is to play a Human. But I'm pretty flexible in the role I need to play for the group. Times I'm available: I am on Eastern Standard Time, but my schedule is decently flexible, so that may not matter in some scenarios. I can't do Mondays but most other days are fine depending on the time. I am not available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays except Fridays which are mostly free and Saturdays after 7.
