Hello, world. Wanted player(s) for CyberSavage, our take on 2040's Cyberpunk Red. It is a grimdark cyberpunk political drama. Heavy on RP, player-driven. Sandbox Neo Miami where the current group is working to sway and capture the Miami Mayorship. They are currently arrayed against a televangelist/New USA First movement, a literal Pirate Clan, and Disney. The timeline is Cyberpunk Red with a few tweaks. Knowledge of the system/timeline is not required. Essentially the backdrop is a balkanized USA with players living and working on the Puerto Chromo Drift Nation off the coast of Miami, Florida. System: Modified Savage Worlds Adventure System Time: 1300 (1 pm) CST (6pm UTC) Sundays until around 4-5 pm (9-10pm UTC) Requirements: Strong character concept (more than a stack of numbers welded onto a weapon), 18+ (game has a hard R for violence/language with the X Card in play), passing knowledge of Cyberpunk 2020 history is nice but not required. GM Note: The players drive the story, I am here to provide the backdrop but I don't do GMNPCs and I don't really have a metaplot per se. I react to your actions and fill in the background with interesting things. Each Session we roll to see if you pull a card or two from the Life Happens deck. These are random events that can derail the entire plan or help out immensely Each Session we also have World News and Events that go on in the background and build the world Also, each session there are opportunities to earn additional Bennies (rerolls/damage mitigation chips) by doing in character RP writing, answering the questions of the week, and posting a meme related to the current events in the game murphy01#6766 is my discord link.
