Hello! I'm a DM who's been running D&D games for about 10 years and looking to try a different system. If you're unfamiliar with City of Mist, you play as a Rift, a regular person with a Mythos - a legend - inside them, giving them supernatural powers and abilities, set now in the modern day in a huge city. You'll be solving mysteries both professional and personal, uncovering the truth of what's going on behind the scenes of the city as well as looking for answers behind your Mythos and what it wants from you. I haven't been able to play the game yet, so I'm still learning and would love to have some players who haven't played yet either so we can learn together. I've read both the player's handbook and the MC Toolkit, so I'm familiar with the rules and gameplay at least in theory. I'm confident that in practice, I'll be able to run the game like any other I've done, just with a few different rules. I would love to run a long-term game and want to play once a week. The more I play, the better I'll be as a Master of Ceremonies. Currently, I would prefer to run a game on a weekday during the day (GMT-4). I'm an actor who's starting rehearsals in a week, so my nights are fairly busy, unless you want to start late, likely around 11 or midnight my time, which I am happy to do. I can do any day except Wednesday during the week as I have another game on Wednesday evenings. We'll use Discord for voice and video. Let me know if you're interested or have any questions!
