Gather round for I have a tale to tell, tis about the magical land of Valandria . Now this Land is not like other any other for when Valandria was created it was a normal world. You see magic is a gift given to us by the celestials, and that gift is not lightly given. It wasn’t until we were near the brink of extinction from war with the shadow realm. that Magic was bestowed upon us. We were able to fight off the shadow realm and For 500 years magic has dwelled in us and has become a part of our lives. Until it wasn’t. It started slowly at first, a spell would backfire, or a ritual would fail. But then magic seemed to almost disappear completely. The overflowing pools of magic began to dwindle, now magic is used very rarely. The masters of the great country of Vandilfell had begun to investigate this occurrence, they sent a group into the mountains where they believed the fabled wizards stone waited. The legend of the wizards stone claims that it is the source of all magic. Shortly after they embarked on this quest is when the spellcasters began to disappear. Now the Masters are in shambles after two of their own vanished.The only thing they can think to do is send a group of heroes to investigate rumors of shadowy creatures in nearby ruins.
