LFGM/LFplayers to organise a group to run/organise/play a "Mistborn" based campaign

Hello, I am looking for an experienced GM to help me organise a campaign based off the mistborn trilogy, and of course motivated players. I do realise that this is a quite tall order from a new player like me but I do believe it would make for an awesome RP due to the powers, settings and classes/races. There is already a campaign published for it but I do not know whether it is any good as I haven't RP'ed much. For those who are not familiar with the source material, here is a spoiler free explanation of the settings. Mistborn is a great series of novels by brandon sanderson , which is set in a fantastical land that has an awesome 1000+Year backstory, two great archvillains, as well as intricate Politics and caste system. Above all , the magic system, Allomancy is a very original one based on the consumption and internal combustion of certain metals and alloys to produce great power/sensitivity/perception/etc which is well balanced by the powers of feralchemy and hemalurgy ,two of the other powers . There are at least 7 distinctive races/caste with different powers , talents and modus operandum. there is no hurry with this project as I count on sticking with it until it is operational and ongoing , but I do hope some of you will be interested , and that those of you who have read the source material will be motivated as I am. Agreed , just finished reading the third installment of the first trilogy and it gets top of my list for modern high fantasy ( along with trudi canavan novels, which I recommend to anyone who enjoyed mistborn). Oh and by the way I forgot to mention an a book was already published to for mistborn roleplay .

I am actually playing in 2 mistborn games at gencon in a few weeks. If I like the system enough, I may pick up the rpg book. If so, I would be interested in playing in a mistborn campaign or maybe even running one.

Well I've never gm or played it , but if you find it nice you should join me on a hunt for more players and/or a gm depending whether you wish to do so yourself or not.

Well you are in if you want. The game still needs a gm and we haven't really set anything up for the rules , but the campaign is up in the group search with the tag mistborn. (start date is if wemanage to organise it and find players in time).

I am interested and looking to fill in some of my limited time slots, all of which are during the weekends, to playing more TTRPGs because they are fun. I have read the mistborn trilogy and it seems like an interesting setting to do a game in.

well , keep an eye on this thread , we haven't really set a date yet , but I wold be alright with a Friday or saturday slot. Snday could be doable but slightly trickier for me. I have put the game up to keep track of people interested with a tentative time, you can find it with the keyword "mistborn".

well cool, I was worried there wasn't going to be enough interest but it seems we should be able to fill up a campaign.

I've got the rule book with all thats needed to play , we have a few players, but we still really need a GM. anyone out there even remotely interested in the job?

We currently have 1 GM and 4 players and access to all the materials needed to run the campaign. There are still 1 to 2 free slots for players so if anyone wants to join , apply before they get filled^^ catch you all on the flip side.

only need one more player, noone out there wanna live a great sanderson adventure?

As a player I'm still interested, as a GM though I can't volunteer :( My available time to prepare is limited and its been several years since I read the books, so I don't feel confident enough to capture the Mistborn atmosphere.

no problem , worst case scenario I'll try dm'ing it if the players can bear with my lack of experience.

well around 8:30 pm gmt , but it is not set in stone yet , I can do later or earlier if necessary , we'll have to see with the group. as for days , currently the plan is to have this run on fridays , but again , we will discuss it wih the group.
