Hi! I am starting a Dragon of Icespire Peak campaign that will be designed for BEGINNERS. It will be held weekly on Mondays at 2 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) . We currently have room for 5 players. The best way to learn how to play D&D is to play! But you need a DM that understands it can be overwhelming at first and is good at teaching others. I understand that and have been teaching others to play for the past 6 months with excellent success. I can put you in touch with many of those players. D&D is supposed to fun. It is shared story telling - told by both the players and the DM, together. Cooperative play is essential. It is also essential to have a basic understanding of the rules and to have DM guiding and helping you get the most out of the experience. Dragon of Icespire Peak is a WOTC module that takes place in a traditional, high fantasy D&D world. It's got all the good stuff - a mixture of combat, dungeon-delving and plenty of opportunities for role-playing. It can last 3 or 4 months, so players need to be able to make that kind of weekly commitment. I will help you build a character and learn how to use that character effectively in game play. Your goal will be FUN. My groups bond quickly and work together for everyone's benefit. It is a paid game, at $10 per session paid via Paypal. All pre-game prep, character building and session zero is free. I want you to know what you are getting into before you make the commitment. To help encourage reliable weekly attendance (which benefits everyone), I will ask players to pay in 2-week increments ahead of time.
