I'm fairly new to Roll20 and was wanting to make a macro and have no idea what I'm doing. What I want is a macro that rolls a d20 and says success for anything over a certain number and fail for anything below that number. If anyone can tell me how to do this or where to learn how to do this that would be great.

Unfortunately, having the actual words success/failure show up is a bit complicated. You can get success failure detection with the success syntax  (e.g. [[1d20>10]] would give a success on a 10 or higher), but it outputs the number of successes (e.g. 0,1,2,3,4). To get the words displayed requires using this trick from the stupid trick's thread .
