Salt in Wounds Campaign Setting. The City of Salt in Wounds is a blood soaked powerhouse city-state whose economy is built around the perpetual butchery of the regenerating, unkillable Tarrasque. Adventurers come to the City seeking Fame, Gold, the Thrill of Battle, and more but few make it out unscarred. Just as the body of the Apocalyptic Tarrasque is eternally cultivated and carved up so that the Macabre society built upon its back may continue, there is not a soul who comes in contact with the City that is not stained in its sins.
