Hi there, we're looking for two players to fill spots in our Dragons of Icespire Peak campaign, however we will also be playing the other modules in the Essentials Kit, such as Storm Lord's Wrath, Sleeping Dragon's Wrath, and Divine Contention! We are looking for roleplay focused players with team oriented play in mind! We will be starting at level 1 and playing weekly, usually Saturday's and Sunday's anywhere from 3pm EST to 6pm EST.  We will be using discord for voice and roll20 for everything else! To apply, fill out this application and reply to this thread! Player Application: Name: Age: Timezone: Experience: Preferred day(s) to play: Favorite session memory/shenanigans: Optional Questions How do you feel about PC/PC romance (NOT sex, that will be fade to black only): How do you develop your PC? Do you like out-of-session PC/PC interaction? Edit: We have found our players!
Name: Xaido Kras (Wayne) Age: 45 Timezone: Central Experience: 5+years of 2E and just over 100 hours played in 5E.  Preferred day(s) to play: From the days you have listed, I would be available for both. Times line up as well.  Favorite session memory/shenanigans: Many good memories to draw from but one of my best was back in my 2E days, we were finally facing off with the final boss of out session. It has taken us almost 2.5 years to get here but after a long, long battle, we finally defeated him. He did come back as a lich but it felt GOOD to kill him when he was alive. Another one would be where my fighter at the time, who had been romancing an NPC for a little over 3 years of playing finally decided to tell me that she had hidden a secret from me for all this time and revealed that she was in fact a silver dragon. This one blew my mind as I had no idea that she was a dragon and that the DM was able to hide the fact for so many years from me.  Optional Questions How do you feel about PC/PC romance (NOT sex, that will be fade to black only): If the two players feel that it should happen then it is fine in my eyes. This is a way for players to forge even stronger bonds as a group. Though sometimes if they break up it can get a bit messy.  How do you develop your PC? I set certain guidelines for my PC to follow and will follow them to the "T". I also use personal growth by interacting with the party and NPC's. Anyone can roll a hand full of dice and gain levels but to me, I like for my PC to feel alive and by playing them this way, it feels a lot better than simple dice rolling. Do you like out-of-session PC/PC interaction? Sure do! While a game can only last so long, having some good interaction outside the session can be healthy. Interaction does not have to stop at session end as there can be many things that can still happen outside a regular session. Sometimes these interactions can be almost as fun as the actual play session.
Name: Brian Age: 27 Timezone: Central Experience: DM for 4 years, player for around 16 sessions Preferred day(s) to play: Any night but Mondays Favorite session memory/shenanigans: Me (a grung monk named Nes) bathing in a bucket, asking the DM if my poison was left behind in the water and could be a hallucinogenic, and the party spending the rest of the session trying to sell NesWater to the townspeople. 3+ hours of shenanigans from that one scene XD Optional Questions How do you feel about PC/PC romance (NOT sex, that will be fade to black only): dope How do you develop your PC? I understand that PCs are like shards of stained glass that reflect our light in different ways, so I would say that I develop my PCs by reflecting on an aspect of myself, and pushing it to the forefront to create a character. Not sure if thats the kind of answer you were looking for haha Do you like out-of-session PC/PC interaction? sure
