I was curious, but I don't play voice-based games (unless I'm sitting right across the table from everyone).

Unfortuneatly i must tell you that voice-communication is an important factor for me. It speeds up the process of playing the game and the vocal component also is important in roleplaying for me as you are able to show your characters mood by the pitch of the voice (atleast sort of). Still thanks for showing interest though!

I've never seen voice used that didn't SLOW the pace of the game, as not only are voices hard to hear through computer speakers (mics seem to pick up all of the background noise) but people who are talking are about ten times as likely to run off on tangents that slow everything down, which is my single biggest pet peeve about r/l tabletop games. I can BS with my friends any day of the week, but I only get a small amount of time to game.

Okay, we then just have different experiences i suppose. I will not make an exception, still i can see your point clearly, stuff such as bad internet or bad mics can really ruin the experience for others. :) Ill just use this as a push too, there are still 4 slots open!

Our campaign has been launched successfully, but unfortuneatly we lost two members for this campaign. Therefore this LFG is active again and we are looking for two more players to join in on this!

i might be interested, i'm GMT and have a little experience with 3.0, you guys might have to teach me some stuff but i have most if not all D&D books as pdf files.
