Hello and Welcome, We are now looking for just 2 players to join in the start of an heroic adventure, starting in a week or so (28th September), on Tuesday evenings, 8pm BST (UK), here is an intro and appetiser: A small citadel to the north-east of the city of Neverwinter, toppled and fell into a deep ravine a century ago courtesy of an eruption and tremors of Mount Hotenow. In late summer, a small adventuring party consisting of heroes you may have heard of, be friendly with, be related to(!) set out to explore the ruins and what treasures or mysteries may remain at the bottom of the rift. The party were experienced adventurers, however, Winter is soon to set in and they have not been heard of. Messengers had been sent out to the small town nearby asking word of them, but no news has come back.  You have decided to take matters into your own hands, banded together to venture towards the rift in search of the heroes, your friends or possibly family members? If they are found and recovered, you too would become heroes, revered in the city of Neverwinter, tales told and re-told perhaps in the cities taverns… not to mention the possibility of treasures in the fallen citadel... About the Game & Module System & Setting:  D&D 5th Edition, Setting: Forgotten Realms. Game Listing & Application:  Details & Application Link Schedule:  Weekly 8pm GMT (BST) - not set in stone, can shift to 7:30pm if preferable. Session length:  3 - 4 hours
, with a short break(s) Campaign length:  4-5 sessions  (Session 0 Free & if all are happy to continue post-adventure, follow on adventure(s) can be discussed!) Ages:  18+, while the game is mature, it doesn't dwell on adult themes.
 # of players needed:  4-5 total
Experience:  All levels of experience welcome, preferably have a little knowledge of the game and/or have a copy of the Players Handbook (physical or digital). I will do as best I can to help character creation and walkthrough Roll20 (it's easy!). Experienced players also welcome. What's needed:  A good internet connection and a microphone. Discord will be required for voice chat, Roll20 for dice rolling, maps and video (not mandatory!). Zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or any other prejudice. (LGBTQ+ friendly) Character Creation:  A 27 Point Buy is used as a base for character creation (yes, I hear ya, I too like rolling for stats, but have found it can be too 'swingy' and skew groups, so a consistent 'everybody at the same base' is a nice way to start). Race & Class: I allow any race/class & subclasses from the Player's Handbook & Xanathar's / Tasha's / Van Richten's Guide. Starting Level is 1 (but will be fast to level up, don't worry, i'm not a monster!) Characters can choose to roll for health or take average on levelling. Session 0 can be used for introduction get to know each other, character sheet creation, roll20 tutorial (if necessary) and discussion of character backgrounds to weave a starting backstory of who knows who and why you would be seeking these lost adventures in a fallen ruin? Who is the DM? Hi, i'm Marc, UK based, and have run 5e D&D for a number of years now (was a player in the 2nd Edition era, he mentions knowingly giving his age away a little). I have a regular group I run for and a regular IRL group at my local game shop; following great feedback I thought i'd open up to another evening of the week for others to come together and have fun too. I've run many of the official modules and know my way around the rules. That being said, the 'rule of cool' is employed and if a rule makes no sense for a certain situation, we'll go with what would. I enjoy the RP side of things, and the presenting problems to players and listening to the creativity used to get out and around them.  What I'm offering? Consistency & Reliability.  There will never be a time that I don't show up for a session unless it is planned in advance or unless something extreme happens. Committed players.  People who pay for games are more serious about their sessions. If everyone is committed, hopefully a good & memorable experience will be had. Roll20 Pro Features.  Battle-maps, dynamic lighting, artwork, handouts, music & effects. I spend a lot of time each week getting setup for the sessions and will go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy the game/get good value for money. Will involve your backstories or character elements into the story arc(s) and you can be confident that I will be prepared for our games. Still reading?  Applications welcome here , or respond below :-)
A quick bump as it is less than a week away, and require just 2+ players to join the eager players already joined :-)
