[LFP] [D&D 5e] [Free] Looking to add one more to a homebrew campaign

Hi there, We have an open spot that we want to fill to get back to 4 in our homebrew campaign set in an expansive world that provides plenty of freedom for character development and opportunities to integrate character backgrounds into the story.  Players should have a vested interest in roleplaying a character that has a deep backstory with motivations, flaws, etc. that drive their decisions and be okay with inter-PC disagreements or conflict as long as it stays within character. Our sessions run Wednesdays from 7-11 PM EST, though our group is typically flexible when needing to change schedule.  We will be using voice & chat through Discord so that is a must. If you are interested, please respond with the following: Name, Age, & Discord: Roles that interest you: What are you looking for in a D&D campaign? What do you love/hate in your sessions?: What do you expect from other players? The DM?: How do you prefer to balance role play, combat, lore, etc.?: What will keep you coming back each session?: Additional info:
Name, Age, & Discord: Ash, 25, Trolltaku#3204 Roles that interest you: Healer, long-range damage, meat shield What are you looking for in a D&D campaign? What do you love/hate in your sessions?: I'm mostly looking for a good time~ I'd like to find a group that's chill, mature when things are getting serious but able to joke about butts right after. The only things I can't stand in a game are DM vs. Player dynamics and players who have to insert themselves into everything. What do you expect from other players? The DM?: I expect everyone to be respectful of each other, know how to joke around, and not derail the entire game. The players should think about the team, not just themselves. The DM should be focused on making and engaging and fun game, not trying to TPK the party . -. How do you prefer to balance role play, combat, lore, etc.?: Roleplay and lore are definitely my favorite aspects of DnD. I just can't resist some good world and character building~ But I also like disintegrating a goblin camp here or there ;] What will keep you coming back each session?: Having a good time! If the game's fun and the group's enjoyable to play with that's enough for me. Additional info: I'm experienced in roleplay, but only been playing DnD around 2 years now. I don't always remember the mechanics but I like to think I make up for it with character building. I also don't check roll20 too often so messaging me on discord is your best bet :>
Name, Age, & Discord: Bones/Bonsey, Mid20s, Will provide discord in private if accepted! Roles that interest you: Flexible player, I don't mind playing any roles What are you looking for in a D&D campaign? What do you love/hate in your sessions?: I mostly come for the storytelling, the silliness, just the fun of the adventure. I enjoy making interplayer bonds and moments come alive, but I also admit I can be the jokester of the group and may often just come in with a dorky one liner. The only thing I ever hate in a session is when ooc communication doesn't exist, if people take things to heart and don't speak out about them or if someone isn't having fun and doesn't communicate and mutually when others don't reach out to ensure another player is fine. I've seen it kill way too many games. What do you expect from other players? The DM?: All around I expect communication and working together. No showboating or hogging spotlights, and respecting other player's personal scenes and plots but also involving each other and taking note if a player is starting to fall to the side. From the DM I expect a mix of keeping us in line so we don't spend a game just memeing it up and being anything but productive, but still a willing to work with us for the sake of fun and not railroad us around. How do you prefer to balance role play, combat, lore, etc.?: An even balance! But I admit I enjoy Roleplay first, and lore and combat equally myself. Follow the story and react to the world kind of player. What will keep you coming back each session?: If I'm enjoying the story, the player intermingling, and feel like I'm part of the game and not just there to watch others have fun. Additional info: I've been playing for years, very open minded and don't mind working with newer players or players who may be a bit socially akward. I own pretty much all the books so have a lot of ability to make a few different characters. If it isn't obvious? I put story and characters before 'winning' or 'being the best.'
Name, Age, & Discord: Nick, 25, Locust#6742 Roles that interest you: Any roles, preferably a caster. What are you looking for in a D&D campaign? What do you love/hate in your sessions?: I m looking for fun, also I want improve my English. Also, a fun story with puzzles, mysteries and exploration. What do you expect from other players? The DM?: I like DMs who support creative sollutions of their players and imaginative players. And teamwork, it is a key for a good game. I don’t like hostile people. How do you prefer to balance role play, combat, lore, etc.?: First lore (I m a Dark Souls fan), then combat, then roleplay. What will keep you coming back each session?: Yeah, if there ll be a reasonable schedule, so I can plan things, I ll come. Additional info:
