Heyo, My name is Joey and I am looking to start a Wild Beyond the Witchlight Game with some hopefully Role play-oriented players. I hope to play around 5:00 pm (PST) on either Mondays, Tuesdays, or Sundays but I could play as early as 2:00 Pm or as late as 7:30 Pm on those days ( Assuming we play 4-hour sessions) What Players I'm Looking For I don't have any real hard-line rules for players, I just ask that you are respectful to the other player's decisions, respect my rulings as a DM, and respect the time that I and the other players put into the game. Age-wise I really don't care, id just hope for a general maturity for players and I don't mind teaching new players the ropes. The only thing I demand from players is no racism, homophobia, or sexism please and thank you. What players should expect I'm a pretty loose Dm that goes by the rule of the cool for a good amount of encounters but I don't ignore the rule book. I definitely lean towards RP in-game and I like all combat encounters to have a peaceful solution for creative players. Homebrew-wise, I'm ok with I just wanna read it beforehand and I hold the right to retcon it if it turns out to be overpowered. I'm ok with almost all races as well. Some things about me I'm a fairly young DM (19) who has been playing D and D for about 5 years and who has been doing online games since the start of the lockdown in the U.S. I'm personally part of the LGBTQ community and I want all the players to feel comfortable. Payment I charge 10$ per player per session and I don't charge for the first 3 sessions just so if you don't like my DMing style or something comes up you don't lose that money. I also don't consider session 0 a session, if you don't know if you wanna play and just want help making a character, I'm glad to walk you through it. I play for 4-hour sessions with 1 or 2 breaks within the game, we can go shorter or longer depending on good jumping-off points but ill never have a session shorter than 3 hours unless something drastic comes up and if all the players can go on and we are all feeling it, I'm glad to play 10 hours with some great players. I normally pay through Venmo but if you don't use Venmo or there's some other way you wanna pay like PayPal we can discuss that.
