I run a custom fantasy system, rule at Enchanted Realms Website . It is similar to 5E but is a skills-based system rather than leveling. Oh, and it's free. The campaign has been running for a year-and-a-half. We run a session on Saturdays roughly every 3 weeks. However, there is a forum for roleplaying in between sessions, where lots of details, stories and characterization unfold. The story is player-choice driven, but the world evolves with or without involvement in those opportunities. This means players determine whether to bug-hunt in dungeons or get involved in the politics of the realm. As a GM I run a world where things occur; as players, they choose how to respond or even be pro-active to events. The game is base in Dallas, TX and starts before noon on Saturdays. I love in presence if you live in the area and have one player who does play at the house. However, others interact via Roll20 and the forum.
