Issue with 3D dice report

During a Roll20 play session last night I decided to turn on 3D dice. They worked well except for 1 bug and one area where I think they could be improved. Bug: during one roll of 3D6, one of the dice didn't "land" properly. It was kind of walking or shimmying from side to side across the play area and wouldn't complete the roll. Had to re-roll to fix this. Improvement Request: There seems to be significant delay between when the 3D Dice finish rolling and the result appears in the chat window. Usually about 3 to 4 seconds as far as I could see last night. Suggestions 1. A dice rolling sound tied to the rolling of 3D dice or even rolling dice in the chat window. I find in physical tabletop roleplaying, this sound grabs everyone's attention and can cut down on non-game related chatter as everyone waits to see the die result. Not having this sound while roleplaying seems strange. An option to turn it on or off would be cool and maybe even versions with different types of die materials on different surfaces. 2. The ability to colour code dice by player (maybe an option on their character sheet in Roll20). I was using Firefox 19.0.2, Windows 7, AMD Phenom II x6 3.21 Ghz, 16 Gb of ram, wired network connection to high speed DSL.

Gmanator, I recommend that you post suggestions separately in the appropriate forum. Regarding the 'walking' bug was this a one-time event? - Gauss
I occured a few times in the same session over a few hours.
Just happened to me. I was using Chrome, and the dice just jittered. They did land, but an explosion incurred, and on rolling the explosion, my browser window crashed. A few turns after, a friend rolled and lamented he couldn't see his 5d12 roll. I said that was a shame because I (and several others but not the GM) could see it and he got three 12's. They didn't appear in the chat, though, and since no one could remember what the roll was in full...

Dack, the 3d dice feature is still considered experimental. Some people have no problem using it while others have a major problem using it. If it causes you problems I suggest turning it off. :) With that said, could you go to http://supportdetails.com/ and post the information it provides you (other than IP address). The next time it occurs could you get us a copy of the console log? - Gauss
I've encountered an issue with rolling the dice (only noticed with 3D, haven't tried normal). In preparation for a damage roll, I've highlighted a token's health amount and waited for the result so I could reduce accordingly. As my player rolled, however, it caused his side of the game to crash (and I think his whole browser). I was able to reproduce this happening. I haven't tried yet to go back through and do major testing, nor do I know what browser my player was using (I was at least using Firefox), but I intend to try some things out later, as I'm still new to Roll20 and still trying to obtain a good footing on how everything works.

Michael, could you make a separate bug report so that we do not get them mixed together? Thanks. - Gauss
