Player Name & Pronouns: Age: Optional Discord name and number: Character Name: Race: Class/subclass: Feat: Background: Personality: Ideals: flaws: Backstory: Why are you excited to play this character: Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: Anything else you think I should know about you: Comments/questions you have for me:
heya, i've been looking for a cool queer group to play dnd with, since my last group that lasted about 2 years ended a few months ago, and i would love to be a part of this group, i've got like, 20 different character ideas on the back burner, so i'm not sure if you want me to list all of them out, but for now i'll just put my most recent one in, but would also be happy to talk to you/other party members before deciding, because i tend to be a jackass of all trades lmao, anyways, my name is Billie, my pronouns are She/They/He, my character name is Reishi, they're a goblin SporeLock (warlock, in my old campaign she was a myconid inhabiting a goblin body, but for now i'll go with goblin since no homebrew lol), so their class is Warlock, their race is Goblin, i don't recall a particular feat i gave her, since i only barely used her once for rp ;-;, her background is Faceless, because she hides the fact that she is infact basically a disease, she is slowly infecting others with her spores, but puts on a very oblivious naive persona that allows her to simply walk around and be silly, drawing suspicions away from that, her personality is very oblivious and naïve, but can also be very morbidly curious, her ideals are to spread mushroom, and her flaws are mainly based around the fact that she grew up like a random hole goblin, and so is very much not used to civilization and customs her backstory is that she was just a normal goblin living in a hole, when a spore entity inhabited her mind, and taught her some warlock powers, and as payment for her powers, the spores would slowly grow inside her until they could inhabit more hosts. i'm excited to play this character, because i had her at level 9 in my previous game, as a stand in for my other character, and i was so excited to finally play a character that didn't have to be the common sense of the party, i just wanted to be silly and happy and have fun with her and wasn't able to, and would love to play as her in this campaign, but i would be equally as happy to play any number of other characters/classes/races/etc because i just love dnd and miss having it in my life. also sorry if this is hard to read, it is 2am, and my reading/writing comprehension is already bad when i'm /not/ tired lmao, also, i am EST, so the game would be 8pm my time, but i am available all day sunday, late into the night, because i work afternoons and evenings during the week. i'd add more to this, but i've already written a lot, i'd be happy to be there, and be happy if you'd have me ^-^

Player Name & Pronouns: Corban, he/him Age: 22 Optional Discord name and number: CorbanDioxide#9801 Character Name: Vaalyn Qin'ralei Race: Elf (Eladrin) Class/subclass: Bard (Creation) Feat: Lucky (or Spell Sniper, if Lucky isn't an option) Background: Gambler Personality: Each bet is an opportunity; nothing in life is certain, so plans seem futile to me. Ideals: If you want to succeed, you have to take risks. Flaws: My impulse control could use a little work... Backstory: "Vaalyn has always been a risk-taker and a gambler. They would often be found either in a casino trying to win big, or in a tavern besting someone in a card game (with the help of some slight of hand, of course). Vaal hasn't grown up with much and has a habit of finessing goods and gold, so when they heard that a wealthy merchant rolled into town, they couldn't pass up the opportunity. Vaal partnered with their friend Senrii and they plotted to steal a particular treasure from the merchant. However, this merchant, Donagrim, was a much more powerful individual than either of them suspected. Through a sheer stroke of luck, they both managed to nab one of Donagrim's most prized possessions: a bejeweled box styled as a sapphire eye. Donagrim's security fell on them like a heavy hammer, so they made a frantic decision to split: Senrii took the box and bolted away while Vaal tried to distract their pursuers. Vaal managed to escape, but they haven't heard word from Senrii since that night. It's been a few months now and Vaal is still on the run from Donagrim and his thugs. Vaal still has no clue if Senrii made it out safely or even if she still has the box. Fearing the target on their back, Vaal began studying some arcane tricks in order to better defend herself. She hopes to one day reunite with Senrii and discover the contents of the sapphire box." Why are you excited to play this character: I've been wanting to play a dedicated caster for a while. The versatility and the gambler theme sound fun! Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I sometimes have to work Sundays, so there's a possibility I'll have to leave a session early. Because we're meeting twice a month though, I wouldn't expect it to be much of an issue. Anything else you think I should know about you: I don't consider myself to be the greatest at high level roleplaying (I'm a pretty quiet person), but I'll try my best! Comments/questions you have for me: I'm sure there's something I could ask, but I can't think of anything at the moment.
Player Name & Pronouns: John, He/Him Age: 34 Discord Name: Chip Waffle #5438 Character Name: Krum Race: Grung (This is from the book One Grung Above, but also featured in Unearthed Arcana) Class/Subclass: Bard/College of Lore Feat: Magic Initiate Background: Gambler Personality: I'm a born gambler who can't resist taking a risk for a potential payoff. I pocket anything I see that might have some value. Ideals: Independence. When people follow orders blindly they embrace a king of tyranny. (Chaotic) Bonds: I'm still seeking the enlightenment I pursued in my seclusion, and it still eludes me. Flaws: I'm too greedy for my own good. I can't resist taking a risk if there's money involved. I'm never satisfied with what I have--I always want more. Backstory: As a colorless Grung, Krum was hatched as a castless member of the tribal hierarchy of his society. Never quite fitting in with his brethren, and to the dismay of his only Grung friend Pip, Krum left his tribe behind in search of something more. Before he could take his final steps from the forest, Pip stopped him and entrusted him with his prized flute in hopes that it would see more use on the road. Little did he know that little flute would play a vital role in Krum's adventures. Most of his days after departing were spent touring nearby villages under the guise of a simple cloak. Keeping his identity as a forest-dwelling Grung a secret, Krum often frequented the many taverns and eateries, using his establishing talent for performing to make the gold he needed to survive. Though most of that gold was spent gambling with various gullible patrons of the locations he visited. One day in a local tavern he visited frequently, Krum made a wager he just couldn't keep with the wrong man. A brawl began between himself and the other patrons, causing his cloak to collapse from his head and reveal his true form. The town guard was immediately summoned, capturing and sending the lone frog to the darkest dungeon he'd ever seen. It was there that he happened upon the unlikeliest of companions, a Leonin named Zeor. The iron bars of the prison weren't quite enough to keep the two new acquaintances bound. With their unique talents combined, a daring escape was made, leaving the dusty old town behind them. This happenstance brought the two together for their travels, taking full advantage of Zeor's sailing capabilities as a pirate. Their aspiration for gold and riches kept them on the move seeking rumors, treasures, and opportunities as they came up. As time went on, however, the two companions lost track of each other on a dangerous quest, each thinking the other dead. It was after this point that Krum was once again alone to discover his own freedom and fortune. Why are you excited to play this character: I love the uniqueness of this character and the idea that I can start off as kind of a greedy jerk and develop him along his new adventure to be more giving and open with his new companions and friends. Not to mention I love the bard class and taking advantage of out-of-combat RP with high charisma is very fun. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I prefer evenings, something in the realm of 5PM cst to 10PM cst. Anything else you think I should know about you : I'm always open for discussion and chatting outside of actual game time. I love interacting with others and sharing ideas, and I especially love the teamwork aspect of the game. I get really focused and dedicated to the campaigns I play in. Comments/questions you have for me: Anything and everything you are able to tell me about your world.
Player Name & Pronouns: Ash, she/her Age: 23 Optional Discord name and number: Cinder#5049 Character Name: Sasha Race: Firblog Class/subclass: Tempest Cleric Feat: Polearm Master Background: Soldier Personality: I'm full of inspiring and cautionary tales from my military experience relevant to almost every combat situation. Ideals: Our lot is to lay down our lives in defense of others. flaws: I'd rather eat my armor than admit when I'm wrong. Backstory: (This would still need some fleshing out after I get to know more about the setting) Sasha grew up in a calm forest environment, with her happy family, but from a young age her parents could see outside conflicts creeping in. So they trained her in fighting, so if there ever was a problem, she could fend for herself. She always was kind of clumsy, and came to respect strong and elegant fighters. This new obsession of hers pushed her to become friend with a band of mercenaries. Once she got older, she joined them. But fighting for real was much different that she imagined. It made her tougher. She experienced all kinds of difficult moments that are burnt into her mind. She left the mercenaries when they started putting more importance in acquiring coins than keeping their hands clean from awful deeds. As she was planning on going home, she was striken by visions from Thor, exalting her to use her newfound strengths and sturdy body to protect those in need. She accepted the call, and became one of the heralds of this Thunder God. Why are you excited to play this character: Gameplay wise, I love cleric spells, and being able to support allies and strike down foes seems awesome. Roleplay wise, I want to play a figure who's here to protect others, a bit rough, but very sweet under her hardened exterior. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I'm good to play pretty much all day. Anything else you think I should know about you: I'm almost a forever DM, I've played D&D for 3 to 4 years now, and ran different campaigns, so I'd be super excited to play my own character. Also, I'm a nb trans lesbian if that adds any info on me, huge nerd into anime and video games. Comments/questions you have for me: I'm just excited to learn about the lore!

Player Name & Pronouns: My name is Ben and I am referred to as he/they. Age: I am 30 years old. Optional Discord name and number: My Discord handle is Vile_#3624. Character Name: My character’s name is Lexen Feres. Race: Half-Elf Class/subclass: Warlock (The Hexblade) Feat: I would like to take the Skilled feat, to reflect his being well-learned and educated due to a noble upbringing. Background: His background is Occultist, which would use the Sage background feature ‘Researcher,’ and give proficiency with Investigation, Persuasion, and both the Abyssal and Infernal languages. Personality: Lexen is the “good time at a party, better time with a book” sort of fellow. He’s a bit smarmy and smug, however in an endearing way. He’s quick-witted and silver-tongued, always ready to stand up for his allies and expound passionately about his interests. Ideals: Knowledge of all things should be free for anyone who’d wish to pursue it. Lexen also believes that there is too great a disparity between the opportunities for the destitute and downtrodden, that the “lower and middle classes” should be afforded the same opportunities as those in the “higher echelon” of society. Flaws: He’s never without his tobacco pipe, nor his favorite tobacco pouch — a gift from his sister. He also has a habit of sticking his neck out to achieve things that are otherwise fairly dangerous to achieve if it means that he can learn something ancient/lost/forbidden. Backstory: Lexen and his elder sister Lera, formerly of a low-ranking house of nobility, have resigned themselves to a more modest style of living. They share a small apartment and Lexen works as a sundries dealer whilst Lera makes ends meet as an apothecary. Far-flung from the lavish lifestyles they once had, both siblings have learned what it means to be “people.” No longer are they forced to wear a mask and present themselves as some thing or someone they are not. Particularly, Lexen can finally pursue (in secret) his interest in the arcane, the forbidden, and the occult. As of late he has been hearing whispers from a mysterious gauntlet he received from one of his associates — whispers promising great, untold secrets and abilities to the one who dons it. Ever the curious one, Lexen has become the gauntlet entity’s new comrade — for better or worse — in his pursuit of fulfillment and enlightenment. I have left this mostly vague as to to be able to discuss it further with you regarding specifics if I am to be invited. Why are you excited to play this character: I am very much excited to play this character because I have been trying to play them for a very long time and have yet to be able to do so. I have been dedicated to this character for many years now, but it seems that the games I have join to play him in of all petered out. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: my availability on Sundays is it anytime after 7 PM Eastern time, which is 4 PM Pacific time. The game is listed time is perfect for me because my schedule is fairly restrictive, which is led to me not being able to join many games. There shouldn’t be any scheduling issues that I know of, barring emergencies and holidays. Anything else you think I should know about you: I’m a 30 year old hairstylist from the Midwest US and I have been playing and DMing D&D for over 10 years. I have been trying to find a game for the past four months to no avail that both fits my schedule and that is welcoming to LGBTQIA+ people from all walks of life. I sincerely hope I’m considered to join your table, Is all the information you have given has peaked my interest. I look forward to potentially hearing from you. Comments/questions you have for me: I would ask if you use critical fumble/critical failure rules in your game?
Player Name & Pronouns: Jack - He/Him Age: 28 Optional Discord name and number: RawketPawnch#5882 Character Name : Nif'Ala Race: Firbolg Class/subclass : Circle of the Stars Druid Feat: Ritual Caster Background: Hermit Personality: Inquisitive, curious, drifting and slightly dim Ideals : To learn the ways of the stars and to truely understand their purpose and power flaws: Very gullible and easily distracted by things that fascinate him Backstory: Nifala was only a young firbolg when he was taught the way of spore druids. Learning about how they use natures necrotic magic so infect and affect the environment around them. To Nifala this was completely normal, for it was what he would see every day. Nifala spent many of his years as a young firbolg, protecting the forest with his circle from people who would do it harm. One day he came across a human, staring at the stars. assuming he was here to harm nature, Nifala confronted the man and told him to leave. "But the stars are so beautiful at night, don't you think? I'm not here to harm your forest, just enjoy the stars." Nifala had never though of looking at the stars, as nature had been the calling he had been taught his whole life. Upon looking at the stars, he noticed the true beauty of stars. The one form of nature that has been untouched by man, entirely. The pictures the twinkles in the sky form, like a form of pure beauty. From that day forward, Nifala spent his "duties" of protecting the forest staring at the stars, finding new constellations, writing his new discoveries. This is when something happened. Nifala felt a presence, not physically, but more...Mentally? He was compelled to follow the voice that seemed to be coming..From the stars themselves? Nifala left his circle, without any notice and left to follow the stars, as if they were teaching him and guiding him along his new journey. It's been 100 years, and Nif'Ala is still following the stars to this day, through cities, new forests, small towns. Anywhere the stars tell him. Some people tell him that he's mad and the voices are in his head, no ones talking; but Nif'Ala chooses to ignore those comments, living in bliss of where the stars tell him to go, certain he'll find his calling to protect the night skies. Why are you excited to play this character : It's a character i've had written for over a yeear, and it's a character i've always dreamed of playing as it's someone who's easily able to dive into and get lost within the whimsical fantasy of the world. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: As long as i have a minimum of a weeks notice, i am able to play on sundays. Anything else you think I should know about you: I am quite an experienced player, playing across multiple homebrew and book campaigns to completion. I'm very easy to get along with and very flexible when it comes to working with or around others. I'm super relaxed and always up for having a laugh and joke outside of game also. Comments/questions you have for me: The only thing i couldn't see on your post, was to what time roughly sessions would be and how long they would last? I'm happy with both long and short sessions
Player Name & Pronouns: Marcos (He / Him) Age: 34 Optional Discord name and number: docmacros #4607 Character Name: Mixa <Misha> Race: Tabaxi Class/subclass: Rogue / Scout Feat: Observant Background: Folk Hero Personality: I'm confident in my abilities and do what I can to instill confidence in others. If someone is in trouble, I'm always ready to lend help. Ideals: Respect. People deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. (Good) Flaws: I have a weakness for the vices of the city, especially hard drink. Backstory (first draft / very open to notes - trying to rationalize a Folk Hero / Scout who can cook): Mixa grew up in a time of relative peace. His parents, escaped their homeland and the specter of war, find each other in a small hamlet – the woodlands near the village were fertile and full of wild game. When Mixa recalls his father, his eyes glimmer with an early morning hike into the forest – “Mixa, grab your bow. Are you arrows sharpened and fletched?” Mixa shows his father his arrows, “Good. It is vital for a quick and clean puncture.” Out of the corner of his eye, Mixa caught his mother’s pursed lips, his father chuckled – “If he’s to become a great hunter, then he has to know. Training starts at a young age.” The two set off before dawn’s light – his father skulking in the darkness ahead, raising a clawed finger to his lips, and then pointing towards the forest’s edge – amidst the trees, a doe, nibbled at a low branch. His father drew his bow and began to pull back on the string – whispering – “Watch me.” Nodding, Mixa’s eyes followed, tracing each movement and then, the release. The arrow flew across the forest floor – thump – the doe falling to the forest floor. “Come, we must be quick so she does not spoil.” His father set upon the doe, slicing it open with his claws and skinning the creature and preparing it. “Remember, we must use all of the animal – her sacrifice honors and feeds us.” His memories flash forward, while he stood eagerly watching his mother stirring a rich tavern stew – “Fetch me the wooden bowls. Our guests are clamoring.” Mixa set out seven wooden bowls and seven whittled spoons. His mother carefully poured out each bowl and placed them on a large serving tray. She grasped the tray and set about her work at The Shaded Tree Tavern – the small tavern his mother ran and his father supplied with wild game. At the corner table, sat an armored soldier in full regalia with the Town Speaker and a robed individual. The three spoke in whispers, quieting once Mixa’s mother approached. She placed a bowl for each of the three, smiled, and gracefully moved away to the next table – two day laborers sat in idle chatter. The next bowl was placed in front of a clergyman, next to his half-empty tankard, without missing a beat – his mother grabbed the half-empty tankard, sauntered behind the bar, placed the final bowl in front of the troubadour on break, winked, refilled the tankard and placed it in front of the clergyman. Turning to Mixa, she said, “Remember, it is vital to keep your eyes and ears open – you should never let the customer have to ask, but to anticipate their very needs before they know them. Observe – read their lips, see them about to get parched and keep them from it.” Trained to be silent, observant and quick to strike from an early age, Mixa found himself naturally suited into the hamlet’s Town Watch as a Scout. His vigilance defended the hamlet from external threats, relying on guerilla tactics, hidden amidst the trees, and keeping his distance. Should the unfortunate come to pass, daggers and claws serve as last resort – striking with finesse and acrobatics. Raised to serve his people, when the specter of war manifested and the Royal Draft was issued - he volunteered himself as tribute sparing the other potential recruits of his village. After joining the Scout Corp, he trained in the use of the rapier – finding it as an almost natural extension of his body, but still much preferring to strike from cover at range. Why are you excited to play this character: I've never played a Tabaxi, I only got to play a rogue for a brief bit before - it's a bit of an archetype character (but I'm trying for the anti-edgelord rogue). He's basically a nice, polite country cat-man who enters the real world with war on the horizon. He's intended to be a heroic character, full of good intentions - I suppose, as the game happens, he'll re-evaluate some of his naive preconceptions. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: For the most part, I have weekends free. If I'm supporting a launch event, I might be on a night shift / sleep-shifted schedule and might need to duck out early to keep that adjustment, however, those aren't too often, and ideally, won't collide with game weekends. I'm proactive and will let you know if there'll be a schedule conflict for me - but I don't foresee it. Otherwise, I've got a long vacation in mid to late December. Anything else you think I should know about you: I'm pretty flexible and happy to play whatever is needed. I'm easy-going and just like playing with anyone. Comments/questions you have for me: Nothing right now, if something comes up, I'll chime in accordingly. Cheers!
Player Name & Pronouns : Jonathan / he him Age : 20 Character Name : Bralynn Raulnor Race : Dwarf Class/subclass : Fighter/Eldritch Knight Feat : Skilled (PBH) Background : Hermit, but not a traditional one. He just never went out during his childhood and his only real friends were his two brothers. Personality : He is pretty socially awkward but is intelligent, thought he may not seem like it at first. Ideals : He wants to make a name for himself and follow in the footsteps of his father who was a adventurer. flaws : Now that he has made his way into the world, he tends to seek vices, like drinking, to deal with his social anxiety. The only person that knew was his mother, as he felt she was the only one in his family that would understand. Now he seeks adventure to honor his family name and to follow in his father's footsteps, who was also an adventurer. Why are you excited to play this character : This in the first character who I've put actual thought into further than just thinking of a cool class to play. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of : I have regular plans at 10 pm, but it isn't an issue if the game goes past that. Anything else you think I should know about you : I'm new to properly playing D&D, but I watch a lot of it and I'm exited to play. Hello, and thank you for your consideration! Player Name & Pronouns: Chris (he/him) Age: 41 Character Name: Thygrim Dankil Race: Mountain Dwarf Class/subclass: Barbarian(2)/Monk(1) Feat: Squat Nimbleness Background: Folk Hero Personality: I’m confident in my own abilities and do what I can to instil confidence in others. / If someone is in trouble, I’m always ready to lend help. Ideals: Fairness. No one should get preferential treatment before the law, and no one is above the law. Flaws: The tyrant who rules my land will stop at nothing to see me killed. Backstory: A genetically engineered dwarf warrior, bread to be strong and faster and take more damage than your average dwarf fighter. A soldier devoid of personality, a war forged version of a dwarf. We trained as fighters. When we weren't training, we worked as masons and miners. Our army grew; there were hundreds of us, ready to defend our people on command. We were sent into a battle. It was brutal. We were all wiped out. I somehow survived. I was found by a little girl with her father, barely alive. They brought me to their home, they cared for me, they helped me recover. During my recovery, I discovered the town they lived in, full of miners, lots of families, many children, living in squalor. They would also hide me when they are visited by a pack of orc, who collects what little money, gems and food they have to keep their homes and remain protected but other forces. As it turns out, they are situated near a mine that is home to a treasure trove of jewels. I choose to stay and help everyone in the town. I helped in the mines. I fixed broken tools and equipment; the children of the town gave me the name Mr Fix-It. I helped with farming. I assisted the local jewellers, who taught me a lot about jewel crafting. I became a valuable asset to the town. And they could continue to hide me when the orcs came collecting. They would usually hide me in a monastery in town. It was barely used, run by an old monk. I helped rebuild the monastery, and the old monk invited me to join and train at the monastery, which I did. This was life for a better part of a decade. My presence there brought the townsfolk out of squalor, they were beginning to live a better life. When the orcs came, we put up the facade of squalor, that nothing has changed, And I would always hide, to protect the people. But the orcs got wind of what was happening and made a surprise visit. They were especially brutal this time, asking to take back more and take a few children with them. I had enough. I decided to fix it. I confronted the orcs, four of them. I fought them all off, killing three of them, while one got away. I was a hero. For the first time in generations, the people were free. But I knew that freedom would not be forever if we did nothing. I knew the orcs would be back, hungry for blood. I have to protect these people. So I sent a companion to the city, looking for a band of mercenaries who would be willing to help. Why are you excited to play this character: I feel the backstory I created is ripe for a really well-told story that can fit into any campaign. I see his past as something he doesn't remember; when he finds a group to help defend the town, he chooses to join that group to learn more about his past. I also have a concept for the character that would create an interesting mechanic in gameplay. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: Sundays are pretty wide open and a good day to fit in a regular game. Anything else you think I should know about you: I am most excited at the prospect of starting a campaign to tell a really good story and have fun doing it. I also look forward to the opportunity to play alongside more BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and female/feminine heroes. Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Flaws: My piety sometimes leads me to blindly trust those that profess faith in my god Backstory: Born to two peasants in the township of ______, Nevrathi was destined to to be anything but normal. With her birth under the full moons at exactly midnight, her appearance of pale white skin and soft lavender glow was frightening. It’d would have been the most frightening part about her had it not been for her complete silence. Evernote the room held their breath in fear as the town’s “physician” tried to confirm life or death. All too quickly, a cry rang out that brought with it radiant pain causing harm to all in the room included the fresh born babe. From that moment on, Nevrathi was seen as an outcast and life her childhood accordingly. That was until on her 7th birthday when a group of diviners at the Church of Selene foresaw the birth of an avatar of their goddess 7 years prior in a township with a burst of radiant purple light. Followed by a swirl or visions of a crown of seven stars, lime green eyes, fire, and the crumbling of a city with the symbol of Shar above the ruins. With that, the diviner’s shared their visions with the Church’s hierarchy and they sent out groups of missionaries to find the child seen. After months of searching a group of 3 missionaries came upon ________ and found what they had long been searching for. With the promise of a better life for Nevrathi and a healthy monthly allowance for allowing her to stay at the central church in the Citadel of _________, the lonely child left behind all sense of privacy and being the outsider. For the next 3 years, Nevrathi trained and studied the teachings, history, and prayers of her goddess tirelessly everyday from dawn to dusk. On her 10th birthday, it was time for her to begin learning how to fight in hand to hand combat. After 2 years of melee training, she began her education in the divine arcanum. After being able to combine her martial and arcane powers after another 5 years, began to learn how to control the radiance that burned deep within her. Since birth, the radiance had yet to show itself, so the Church’s leaders had a ritual performed on her to bring the radiance out. As the end of the 10 hour ritual neared closer, Nevrathi felt a burn inside of her chest like she had never felt before. She fell to her knees and began to thrash around vigorously under the immense pain of an unknown source. One of the young acolytes in seeing her pain tried to run to her aid, but before they could be stopped, they stepped within 10 feet of her, they themselves began to thrash with the pain of her inner radiance, that now burned light through her eyes and mouth, and sadly died. After the completion of the ritual, Nevrathi’s radiance burned at all times within and outside of her, she was given a mask in the shape of star that covered all parts of her face except her brilliant lime eyes. With the completion of another 5 years of training, Nevrathi was finally an acolyte of the twilight for her goddess Selune. After her 15 years of training and being cooped up in the Church and temple, she left for the first time traveling from city to town to farm guiding people from life to death, and guarding travelers in the night as the watchers of the twilight are expected to do. Why are you excited to play this character: I am excited to play this character because since Tasha's has come out I have dreamed of playing this class due to the heavy amounts of RP that are possible with it as well as its uses in and out of combat. I'm also excited because the idea of playing an Aasimar supposedly sent by the goddess she serves to help guard against the terrors the night and darkness may bring could be fun and funky and fresh with some fun plot lines to torcher my character and others with widely available :) Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: On Sundays I am free before 1pm EST and after 5pm EST. Besides that I am enrolled in classes throughout the week and have rehearsals from 9-1 on Sats and 1-5 on Suns. Anything else you think I should know about you: I absolutely love telling stories with others and hope to have the opportunity to tell one with you and everyone else in this group :D Comments/questions you have for me: None as of now but I do have like 20-30 other characters ready to go at all times so lmk if you wanna see/meet anyone else I have on my bench haha
Player Name & Pronouns: Jason (He/Him) Age: 18 Discord name and number: Rogue Wolf#6393 Character name: Ryu Of Scala Race: Human Class: Bloodhunter Feat: Blood curse of the eyeless Background: Haunted One Personality: I expect danger around every corner. I don’t talk about the thing that torments me. I’d rather not burden others with my curse. Ideals: I kill monsters to make the world a safer place, and to exorcise my own demons. (Good) Flaws: I assume the worst in people. Backstory: Ryu was born in a kingdom in Scala but he wasn't treated as a son to his family. Instead, he was locked in a basement and used only as a slave for his family's doings. It kept on like that until he was 12 years old. But his siblings pitied him and tried their best to be kind to him while their parents didn't like him at all since his parents accused him of being a demon without any proof to back up that accusation. But then his family found him useless and decided to execute him which then backfired at them. He ended up killing his parents to survive and avoid execution by them. His siblings witnessed him in the act and he didn't kill them since they showed him kindness. He ended up escaping the house while covered in blood and managed to escape the kingdom before the guards arrived to investigate the scene. Ryu thought he was alone now deep into the forest until one of the blood hunters kidnapped him and took him to their school to train and become stronger. He first had to go through a trial by making his way back to the school and avoid getting caught by the lurking monsters. He succeeded but at the cost of other kids similar to his age. He then earned his medallion and was now considered a blood hunter for passing the trial along with two others who made it back. After another few years had passed, Ryu left the school with the promise to return every winter to reunite with them and he ventures on to take on contracts and start his new life as a blood hunter. Why are you excited to play this character: I'm excited to play this character because his personality almost matches mine and have always wanted to RP as somewhat of a Witcher character in the game with a dark past. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I am free on Sundays and will let you know if I have anything going on through Sundays and Saturdays. Comments/Questions you have for me: No questions or comments at the moment and hope to hear from you soon.

**Player Name & Pronouns:** Alex (he/him) **Age:** 28 **Optional Discord name and number:** SolunaLifeweaver #6029 **Character Name:** Myrieth (She/her) **Race:** Haregon **Class/subclass:** Druid (Circle of Dreams) **Feat:** Magic Initiate (Cleric) **Background:** Far Traveler **Personality:** 1) I have different assumptions from those around me concerning personal space, blithely invading others’ space in innocence, or reacting to ignorant invasion of my own. 2) I have my own ideas about what is and is not food, and I find the eating habits of those around me fascinating, confusing, or revolting. **Ideals:** Inquisitive. Everything is new, but I have a thirst to learn. (Neutral) **Flaws:** I pretend not to understand the local language in order to avoid interactions I would rather not have. **Backstory:** Myrieth is slightly confused as to how she came to be... she thinks she remembers, but most days, the memories of her youth and homeland often seem like such strange, odd, fantastic things... The only thing Myreith knows for sure is this: when she dreams, he feels right at home... **Why are you excited to play this character:** I love playing as a healer, but I don’t like playing as a religious character, so Cleric isn’t something I’m interested in. Bards are great, but every time I play Bard, I always end up playing as a support caster or a synergist/off-healer. In all the years I’ve been playing 5e, I’ve never had the opportunity to play as a Healer Druid, and it’s the one character I’d love to play the most! **Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of:** Sundays are the only days I have available Due to work and school. I would prefer to play in the morning, mid day, or early afternoon because I work on Mondays at 4:00 am. I would like to be done with each session by 10:00 PM (Central Time). **Anything else you think I should know about you:** I’m really excited to play D&D again! I recently moved to Austin, TX and I don’t have anybody to play with anymore! **Comments/questions you have for me:** I have a Homebrew Quarterstaff that I would Love to start out with, but if it’s not a good idea, I understand. It’s called the Quarterstaff of The Forager. It has 4 charges, regains 1d4 charges per Long Rest, and allows you to cast Goodberry (1 charge) and Create or Destroy Water (2 charges). It also acts as a spellcasting focus for Druids.
Player Name & Pronouns: Ben (He/him) Age: 34 Optional Discord name and number: kwazykid#9441 Character Name: Coraris "Cori" Umberleaf Race: Elf - Eladrin (MToF) Class/subclass: Shadow Magic Sorcerer (2) Hexblade Warlock (1) - (interested in multiclassing if DM allows) Feat: Warcaster (PHB) Background: Haunted One (CoS) Personality: I don’t talk about the thing that torments me. I’d rather not burden others with my curse. I refuse to become a victim, and I will not allow others to be victimized. Ideals: I’ll stop the spirits that haunt me or die trying. Bonds: There’s evil in me, I can feel it. It must never be set free. Flaws: I talk to spirits that no one else can see. Backstory: Cori is an Eladrin Elf who spent his childhood near a pathway between the Feywild and the Material Plane. It felt normal to be able to easily cross from one realm to the other and back again. But learning the difference between the planes, the different forces that governed each, was sometimes a challenge for him. His parents, Cezaran and Lilikoi, had told him from a young age that he has magic in him, shadow magic that is drawn from the fey forests. At the age of 60, Cori began learning to control the magic within him. When he was nearing adulthood, there was to be a ceremony to honor him. The Eladrin of his tribe were gathering to celebrate when something happened. There was an attack by dark forces from Shadowfell, the tribe was being invaded by something that Cori had never seen before. Family and tribe members were being struck down around him. His mother told him to run so he made a break for the pathway between the realms. The pathway was usually a calm walk through a tunnel of leaves and branches, but on this crossing the ground was separating, the trees were shaking and there were cracks in reality itself through which he could see darkness shimmering with glitter, his first look at the space between the planes. Cori’s next memory was awakening in the material plane, the pathway destroyed and all that was left was an archway of branches, twisted out of any natural shape into an undulating pattern as if there were remnants of runes. "I was wondering when you would wake up" a voice echoed through his head. "It seems I am stuck here with you for the time being." It was the voice of Kyranis, a fallen Archfey from the Shadowfell. With its silver tongue it began to tell Cori how they both were in the pathway between planes when it collapsed and if a pact had not been made, they both would have perished. Somehow the pact had unintentionally trapped Kyranis inside Cori’s mind. Now that both of them are trapped on the material plane, Kyranis’ goal is to find a way out of Cori’s mind, and return to corporeal form. With the pact, comes powers that are granted to Cori, magic that is meant to both aid in the freeing of Kyranis, and to set a plan into motion to bring darkness to this plane of existence. Cori is torn, desiring the power, but not wanting to use it to bring harm to any of the good inhabitants of either the material plane or the feywild. He struggles to keep his free spirit and jovial attitude towards life, but he must hide the pain to keep those around him from experiencing the horrors that he has seen. While Cori’s outward attitude may mask the troubled soul he carries, his appearance sometimes betrays him. Much of his life he exhibited Summer characteristics with deep greens and browns accenting his features, he now has a rich Autumn aura. The tips of his hair, his fingers, and the leaflike coverings he wears seem to have tips of blue or white as he struggles not to let Winter take him over. Why are you excited to play this character: I love playing a character that has secrets but wants to protect those he calls friends and family from the horrors that he has faced. But having the story slowly come out over time. I am drawn to the fantastical nature of the fey and want to incorporate that into the way I play, even if we do not travel to the Feywild. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I am free nearly every Sunday evening. I have some requirements for my job that I am expected to be present for on Sunday Afternoons and most likely would not interfere with the start time of 5pm PST that you have listed. The dates of those conflicts are as follows: November 14th until around 6pm central November 21st until around 6pm central February 6th until around 6pm central February 14th until around 6pm central April 10th until around 6pm central April 17th until around 6pm central Anything else you think I should know about you: I like playing support. I am a very laid back person and let a lot roll off of me. I like puns and sometimes make bad, groan worthy jokes. Comments/questions you have for me: With the backstory I have created, I wanted to make it more difficult for me to min/max. In a perfect world I would go with 2 levels of warlock and sorcerer from then on, but I would much rather play a character with flaws that isn't optimized. I feel that it makes for a much more fulfilling story. With that, I wanted to ask if the DM would like to control which class I would level up each time a milestone is reached. I don't want to put more work on the DM but I want to have the class determined by the plot of the story, e.g. my patron persuades me to continue to follow his path so the DM determines my next level would be in Warlock. Or I reject an advance from my patron so the DM decides I level in sorcerer. All of that being said, if this is a build that does not fit into your world as a multiclass character, then I am perfectly happy to take out the sorcerer element altogether and just go with a straight Warlock. I think it would be really cool to work in a patron that is working with the “dark forces” in your story. But I don’t want to take up too much spotlight. I’m here for fun as a group. Player Name & Pronouns: Susie (She/her) Age: 34 Optional Discord name and number: N/A Character Name: Bridie Watercrest Race: Tiefling Class/subclass: Cleric Trickery Domain (3) Feat: Shadow Touched (TCoE) Background: Anthropologist (ToA) Personality: I'm driven by a wanderlust that has led me away from home Whenever I come to a new place I am interested in any local stories and gossip. Ideals: Independence. I am a free spirit, no one tells me what to do Bonds: Everything I do is in search of true love. Flaws: I have trouble keeping my true feelings hidden. My sharp tongue lands me in trouble. Backstory: Bridie Watercrest is a purple tiefling who grew up in a carnival. Her father, a human, is an accomplished pastry chef. And her mother, a tiefling, is an entertainer for the carnival. Bridie's life has always been filled with travel, seeing new places and meeting new people of many different races. But all of it has been through the lens of carnival goers. Bridie's father, Arthur Watercrest, has taught her how to bake, but she found it easier to sell the goods at the stand, calling out to anyone that passed by as any good salesperson would. Bridie has triplet younger siblings, 2 brothers and a sister. Strudel, Streusel, and Madeleine. Her mother, Loralai, is an entertainer and performs nearly every night at the carnival. Bridie also has a pet fruit bat named Bellini that goes everywhere with her. She has a thirst for adventure and is always excited to explore the new places they visit. She also is interested in anthropology, learning as much as she can about the different races she encounters. This thirst is one of the reasons that she decided to leave the carnival. Her siblings are old enough to help out at the pastry stand, and while carnival life is exciting, she has no personal space. Her siblings are always around so she is never alone and able to be an individual, plus there is so much more of the world to explore! Bridie is a hopeless romantic, and has a wonderful example of how love should look from her parents. Included in her wanderlust is the search for true love. Her dedication to this ideal was noticed by a goddess in one of the temples she visited in an area that the carnival had stopped along its route. Recognizing this steadfast creed in Bridie, the goddess promised to protect her as long as she continued her quest for adventure, knowledge, and love. Why are you excited to play this character: I’m looking forward to playing a character who is finding her way in the world. I enjoy playing characters who are caring and creative. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I should be free for any time Sundays Anything else you think I should know about you: I love animals and want to interact with them in gameplay. I want to help heal people but don’t want to be thought of as the party bandaid. I enjoy roleplay, puzzles and npc interaction. I also enjoy good combat that is within the story, but not combat just for combat's sake. Comments/questions you have for me: My pet bat is purely for aesthetic and roleplay. It will not be used in combat or for gaining any kind of advantage.

Player Name & Pronouns : Jamie - He\Him Age : 32 Discord name and number : Caporegime#6601 Character Name : Ultent Palespear Race : Aasimar, Scourge Class/subclass : Paladin, Oath of the Watchers Feat : Resilient Background : Acolyte Personality : I see omens in every event and action. The gods try to speak to us, we just need to listen. I am tolerant (or intolerant) of other faiths and respect (or condemn) the worship of other gods. Ideal : Faith. I trust that my deity will guide my actions. I have faith that if I work hard, things will go well. (Lawful) Flaw : I am suspicious of strangers and expect the worst of them. Backstory : I was abandoned by my parents at birth. Left at the door of a temple dedicated to the God of Guardians; Helm. As to why I was abandoned by my supposed parents, I do not know nor do the ones who raised me. Though the logical conclusion anyone with half a brain could come to, is that a child born with pure white hair and eyes that periodically emit light, well, is not normal and to someone who is unlearned, is frightening. Though, this “logical” answer to a question which has tormented my mind for decades just bears more questions, questions which at this point in time, won’t be answered. For most of my youth, life was a mundane and repetitive cycle of waking up, eating, classes and chores. I don’t remember the exact day or year, but I do remember the exact moment I heard the voice. The voice which would guide me to this day. It sounded as if someone was behind me and they were attempting to get my attention. But when I turned around, the room was empty - so I thought to myself that I must be hearing things. It could have been the voices of the elders simply echoing throughout the temple - this was not uncommon. Though when I heard it a second and third time I thought that I was going insane. That I was possessed. By what? I did not know. Though I understood at that time that something was not proper, that Helm was not with me. I quickly made the Elders of the temple aware that I was hearing things that were physically not there and they quickly told me to wait in my chambers. I obeyed. After waiting for what seemed like days, would only be a few hours, I was beckoned to the antechamber of the Elder’s Hall. The youngest of the temple Elders, an elder who never really engaged me in conversation or friendship, informed me that he was going to lead me into the Elder’s Hall and that I was to stand before them and listen. Simply listen. They explained to me that I, as a newborn, displayed the features of something they only heard tales of, that my hair and eyes were not demonic in nature, but were the result of the Gods having touched me within the womb. They believed that me being abandoned at the steps of a temple dedicated to Helm was not by chance, but by fate and that I was touched by the Watcher himself. The voice which I had heard that day, they believed, was another sign that this was true, that I was meant to be a devotee to Helm. This was the day my life changed. As I grew so did my skills in both combat and religious scripture. The Elders made it clear that I was to become a Guardian of Helm, a Paladin. I became familiar with most weapons that Temple had, but I gravitated towards the maul. There was something about the weight of the maul and the reverberations it made when it impacted armor and objects that just made me grin with excitement. It made me feel powerful. Memorizing the tenets of Helm, well, that was far more taxing than physical combat. Spending several hours a day reading, memorizing and then regurgitating the information back to one of the several Elders became monotonous, though it was a necessary evil. Decades, if not several decades, were spent honing these skills. I saw several Elder’s pass on and new ones come to replace them. And then, then I heard it, the voice. For only the second time since the first, I heard the voice which laid this path. And that’s why I’m here today, yourself? Why are you excited to play this character : Like the majority of my characters, none get used and are usually brainstormed at odd moments of my life. This character in particular, the creation phase was the hardest part, so hopefully this character lives up to the hype that I have unfortunately drenched it in. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of : As of the writing of this application, my Sundays are completely wide open and are willing to be filled with some form of activity, preferably D&D. Anything else you think I should know about you : I’m an individual who adores stories; be it telling one, assisting in the telling of one or simply sitting back and watching one unfold. I get enjoyment out of satisfying story telling. I’m what you can say, new-ish, to the realm of playing D&D. I’ve played it several times in the past, and by past, I mean pre-2015. I own several of the 5e books and have been an onlooker for several years, so my understanding of the game isn’t zero. I just may need to be yelled at from time to time, or ask many dumb questions which probably been answered ten times before. Comments/questions you have for me : As someone who is looking to assist in the telling of a story, I’m going to try and leave this character’s backstory open so I can better craft it to the realm of which you (the DM) has created. An even better approach to this is to, if possible, to bounce ideas off of you.

Whoo boy, lotta buzz for this one. I'm looking for a Sunday game and totally cool with the LGBTQIA+ crowd. Besides that, I haven't played a classic fantasy RPG in AGES (went from Numenera to Cyberpunk for the last year and half or so). Anyway, my application! I like to work with my DM/group for story beats or personality mesh, so I apologize if a couple blanks are vague, and everything is fine to change or tweak for something that works better. (also not sure what's up with those lines in the bottom of the post. I can't figure out how to fix them, lol!) Player Name & Pronouns: Brian B, He/Him Age: 30 Optional Discord name and number: I'll provide if I'm accepted Character Name: Agios Naftis Class/subclass: Tempest Cleric, baby! Current backstory ideas imply human, but I'm toying with Triton or water Genasi just to really lean into the sea-cleric vibe Feat: Warcaster or Magic Initiate (to acquire Shocking Grasp. Shame there aren't Domain Cantrips, am I right?) Background: Sailor, maybe Acolyte Personality: intimidating and strange. He often speaks in vagueries and relates more things to storms, the sea, and his god Poseidon (or this world's equivalent) than is strictly comfortable. His desire to sacrifice and appease his god may look "evil" to outside observers, but his heart is good and he strives for natural balance and for those who follow the rule of the Gods to reap their rewards. Ideals: Order, Faith, and Justice flaws: He doesn't understand those who DON'T follow a creed or faith. He doesn't always respect authority of secular rule. On a deeper level, though he doesn't realize it, his faith and adherence to the sacrifice and ritual of his faith is born out of trauma and fear. By appeasing his God he seeks the safety that comes from his favor and power. Backstory: Of a humble fishing village, he always longed for adventure and excitement. As many seafaring folk, he left his family as a boy to sign on as a deckboy on a merchant ship that made harbor in his village. He learned what he could and made a fine sailor, but on a particular voyage he shared in the grumbles of his fellow sailors, conceringing a tight-fisted foreign master of a vessel filled with precious cargo. When a mighty storm drove in he was convinced it was the will of Poseidon/analog, and risking retribution he cut loose the ties of the cargo and sacrificed them to appease the angry god. A hard wind knocked him into a longboat just as a great wave overtook the ship. Agios was the sole survivor, and drifted in his little boat praising Poseidon/analog for his mercy. He found he could heal his own wounds, and devoted his life to serving the fickle God, gaining strength, finding training, and learning to bend the power of sea and storm to fight his God's enemies and to bolster his people. Why are you excited to play this character: I've wanted to play a Cleric for ages because they're mechanically powerful, and like sticking to a theme: throwing lightning and wind around, playing a sailor and a wanderer all sounds fun! Looking up a bit about Poseidon led to imagine a gruff, cranky priest that means well but is pretty off-putting, and the kinda cowardly inciting incident sounded fun. It IS kinda self-contained, so I'm open to workshopping some backstory that ties into other players or plot more closely as well. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: Sunday evenings are best for me. I'm in a Sunday afternoon game now (EST), and that' starting to feel kind of interrupting to my weekend. I AM unavailable Nov 21 (I'll be out hunting), but other than that I'm usually available! Anything else you think I should know about you: I'm timely and attendant, and I get INVESTED in games that even slightly allow investment. I've played in games with a between-sessions forum or board and consistently posted more than DMs and fellow players. Once I make a character I love living in his shoes, but also usually have a backup concept or two in case he dies. Comments/questions you have for me: Are you planning this to be a long-running game, or do you have a set plot/length in mind? Also, how many people are you planning to take on? I've been having issues in playing alongside too-big of parties (like 5+ people really plays out slow)

He would often be mocked by his peers for it and be pushed around by his peer. He would often be bullied if he refused to follow their demand. However, he had two friends and parents to support his antics of being a holy knight. Ender would receiving training to become the holy knight like the stories but as time passed on, his parents began to suggest him to grow up and out of the habit of being the holy knight. Why are you excited to play this character: Im trying to get into roleplay, and decided "why not play a character that wishes to roleplay as another character?" (my inspiration for this is a Fischl from Genshin Impact) Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I am a university student, so whatever school tasks, it will always come first. However, I am still going to try to schedule myself to have time on Sunday. I live in the PDT/PST zone. I dislike playing late into the night (11PM will be the latest I will stay up). Anything else you think I should know about you : I live with my parents, so at times I won't be able to voice chat while they are talking or they are talking to me. Comments/questions you have for me: None at the moment.
Player Name & Pronouns: Griffin, he/him Age: 31 Optional Discord name and number: griffin#1138 Character Name: Shaxx Race: Dhampir Class/subclass: Monk, Mercy Feat: Mobile Background: Sailor Personality: I work hard so that I can play hard when the work is done. My friends know they can rely on me, no matter what Ideals: People. I'm committed to my crewmates, not to ideals flaws: Once I start drinking, it's hard for me to stop. Backstory: Shaxx's backstory is very light/open to allow for collaboration with DM or other players to make it more bespoke to the campaign or have an existing friendship with another PC. General points: his mother became irritated by the combination of sea life and motherhood and disappeared, leaving Shaxx with his father and the crew that became an extended family Why are you excited to play this character: He's just a friendly, happy go lucky guy who is also my favourite class. The idea of playing a people oriented person with no trauma feels exciting to me as I usually add some darkness to a backstory to emotionally explore later. Shaxx may have mother issues but they're more a curiosity rather than a source of trauma. Describe your availability on Sundays, and any scheduling issues I should be aware of: I'm GMT/GMT+1 but completely free on Sundays Anything else you think I should know about you: When I commit, I don't break that commitment unless something outside my power forces it. Comments/questions you have for me: I look forward to hearing back from you, thank you
Hello Everyone, you have all submitted great characters. Please note that I will be reaching out to some of you in order to set up a one on one interview with you via discord this week or next week. Please note that any interviews on a weekday will be after 6pm PST.
I want to thank everyone for submitting a character for this campaign. I truly appreciate your time and all of the energy you put into making them. This was very difficult but after interviewing the top candidates I have notified the individuals who would be the best fit for this campaign directly. If you are unsure if you have been selected please check your discord inbox. The final decision was not made lightly or quickly. This posting is now closed.
