Making tokens appear to players in explorer mode (B&W) vision

Sorry if this has been covered already, but I'm trying to make a token appear to players in the "black and white" explorer mode vision that they have while outside of a particular room. (The idea is that they're monitoring a dark room by camera and can see things happening in that room even though they're not there.)  Is this possible? I just thought this would be a cool effect but I can't seem to get it to work. Even when I move a player token into the room to "see" the thing I just placed in the room, and then move them back out of the room, the new thing disappears from the explorer mode view. I've tried making the new token emit light and that doesn't work either. Would putting the "new" token on the GM layer and then making it visible to players make any difference for objects that appear in explorer mode?  (I'm using a pre-made dynamic lighting map from the Marketplace, if that makes any difference.) Thanks for helping!
I'd suggest simply using a transparent .png token as a light crumb .
I think I already tried that. I made the new token controlled by all players and had it emit light. I'll try again but the token always disappears from the explorer view when a player token leaves the room.
Update: Turning vision on for the new token and limited field of vision set at zero allows the players to see the new token placed in the room. But it also makes the token "glow" in its normal way while the rest of the room retains the black and white explorer view. Sort of a strange look but if it's the only way to make this effect happen, I'll go with it.
Another update: Switching the tint color on the token to white does give it a sort of ghostly glow, which is kind of the effect I was going for. Not perfect, but since I don't know how to edit tokens to all B&W it's probably the best I can do.
Explorer Mode allows players to see areas of the map layer that any tokens they control have already explored.  It does not show any tokens that are on the Object layer.  So you could put any tokens that you want the players to see from the camera on the map layer and move them around there, and they will be visible in black and white.
Yep, I did indeed finally figure that out. Thanks Jarren. :)
