The Frontier The journey here was
treacherous. You were told it would be difficult but the ocean stretched on for
what seemed like forever. Food got scarce and there was even talk of mutiny out
of desperation. But sure enough as The Priest told you, you came to The New
World. You, along with the other 300 pilgrims survived the trip. You kissed the
land and thanked the gods for your survival and arrival. It took three days to
organize everybody on land. You brought nearly nothing as you all fled your
homeland rife with foreign invasion, religious warfare, disease, and no
opportunities. This new land was wild and full of strong tall trees, great
powerful rivers, and tall rocky mountains. Food was plentiful! Fish, game, and
wild fruits of all kinds and so many exotic plants! The beach was full of
edible crustaceans’ and palm fruit. The Priest lead the way,
he told you of a great church the last group of pilgrims had constructed. Just
a little bit ahead he told you; To the village he had constructed. Three days
into the journey inward, after a rather large and bountiful feast the priest
and 1/3 of your fellow pilgrims got violently ill with fever. Trudging forward
at half your previous pace you had finally arrived! The village was... small.
Much smaller than you’d imagined it would be. There was only about 50 pilgrims
whom survived from the last group so far. They had all built shacks near the
waterside. Among them there seems to be little or no leadership and most look
at you suspiciously despite you sharing a common homeland and purpose for
coming to The New World. The Priests church turned
out to be only partially built. From what you gather, over time most of the
workers have died off one by one. When the angry mob arrives where The Priest
is resting to question him, it is discovered that he had already passed from
the illness. Many of your sick companions followed. What you gather from the
locals it their illness was due to eating toxic animal parts that are unknown
to you.
This leaves just over 100
of your group remanding. With nothing but a partially built and hollow church
to figure out how to survive. Attempting to return home back across the sea is
not an option. Your only navigators died of the toxins and The Priest had a map
book that seems to have gone missing... Slots Available: 0 of 4 slots taken System Used: Warhammer 4e Style: Voice for session, often there will be text for game planning
