The System Pendulum- a system that is fairly simple once you grasp a couple of mechanics that aren't complicated but are a bit different from many other games. The main hook is that failures and bad things happening to the characters give them Tension points they can use to effect future rolls and power some abilities. It is still in the play-testing phase but mostly complete. Though due to tweaks will have times where players can re-spec characters so they can adjust to any changes to the system. Character creation is point buy. The "races" in the setting so far are Human, Ludek (dwarf), Nisse (gnome), Tuatha (elf), Gremlin (basically tailed goblins that break things), Krotilain (hidden reptilians), Humanoid Automatons, & The Reanimated. Though have a couple in my back pocket not yet introduced & somewhat open to other playable options. The Setting In what would one day become the City-State of Kythera a mining expedition discovered a strange ore that had many odd qualities but most useful of which was in making an alloy that was able to store kinetic energy incredibly well. They mined so deep it was a pit that disturbed the subterranean races below. Now the city is populated by factions vying for control and people just trying to survive. It focuses on M.A.S.K.S a team of problem solvers for hire that is on the lowest level of the city with ties to the highest.
