Looking for Online Groups for Newbies

Hey all, back again. Life has been crazy, and as a result I haven't been around on the site much, but I am back now, and very much still looking for a new group, willing to take on several new players, who are still learning the fundamentals of the game (one has never played, but willing to learn, and the other like myself, has some experience, though the experience is limited to a couple games). Both live in California, and I am in Ohio, so preferably something that is online would be best. I know "teaching as you go" isn't for everyone, but I don't have nearly enough experience to teach them, so someone with more knowledge would be best. Below is some information about me (the images aren't mine, as I am still working on creating sketches of my characters, rather they are stock images I found online that are close to what I imagine my characters would look like). Experience: Beginner to D&D Email: darkbrigadier708@gmail.com Discord Id (if needed): Furry_Defender#4916 Characters: Daryien - Dragonborn, Barbarian Lvl 2 Akius - Variant Human, Wizard Lvl 1 Rol - Variant Human, Sorcerer Lvl 1
Two of my players use that art for their druids. I run 3.5 but if you're interested, let me know. taibhsear#7908
the thing i worry about is my fiance, who has never played before, so none of this will make sense to her, but i have barely played enough to be comfortable enough explaining it to her. however she wants to learn - hence the need for someone willing to be patient with a newbie
Hi! I just sent you an email if you wanna take a look!

I have premade sheets, she can pick one and go. We can go over it if she wants some explanation beforehand or just jump into it. I find jumping in is the best way to learn. it's how I learned to play over 30 years ago.

So i did help her to create a character through D&D Beyond (she chose a Goliath and i helped her sorta flesh it out), but we did discuss how it helps to have a few characters on hand as backup should something happen to the main character right off the bat
Add me on discord - I have a great group of new and experienced players/DMs and we are always super open to having new players. I personally work with everyone from start to finish and I love helping and answering all sorts of questions and if I don't know the answer we have many other players to ask. discord - stripperbandit#9501 Currently working with a new group as well starting today so if you're looking for a game to join just let me know - We mostly do homebrews but all we do is have fun and laugh.
