Savage Pathfinder does not contain actual core rules

I purchased the Pathfinder for Savage Worlds VTT bundle, which contains what purports to be the Core Rules for the game. All literature about it says it is a complete game and does not require the Savage Wrolds Core Rules to play. However, many rules subjects seem to direct me to the Savage Worlds Core Rules and the message I receive when I try to view them tells me I don't have access to that. Example - under my compendium, I click Rules > Situational Rules and it pops up a window with a list of the situational rules. but if I click any of the subjects on the list, it tells me I don't have access. Seems like this was a complete waste of money if I have to buy the core rules twice in order to actually use them for the Pathfinder for Savage Worlds game that advertises it is a complete rules set. Feeling extremely ripped off.
Update - I now note that the Marketplace page for the Pathfinder Core Rules (which were included in the VTT bundle) seems to state that it INCLUDES the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition Core Rules. This does not, in fact, seem to be true.

Hi there - sorry about your frustration. Perhaps I can clarify a few things. The marketplace description does explain that "This is a complete rule set. You do not need the Savage Worlds Core Rules Compendium to use Pathfinder for Savage Worlds" and that "This compendium and add on module contain the Savage Worlds rules, specially tailored for the world of Golarion." What this means is that the product is a standalone product, that the SWADE rules have been adapted and tailored for the setting. While you do not need to own Savage Worlds Core Rules Compendium, Pathfinder for Savage Worlds is still compatible with that marketplace product and, as such, includes categories that reference SWADE Core because of the way that Roll20 Compendium categories work. As with any publisher's products on Roll20, compendium links will appear for other products that you do not own and you will be redirected to the marketplace if you chose to purchase them. This is a phenomenon hard-baked into the platform. One complication to this is that there has been a technical error on the backend of the system that has erroneously linked some SWPF entries to the SWADE Core product. If this is what you are experiencing, it is not working as intended, but it currently being addressed by the wonderful Roll20 developers who have the power to correct this problem. I would ask for your patience while this is being fixed this week. So hopefully understanding how compendium categories work and having this linking issue fixed, you will have the expected experience of the stand-alone SWPF compendium as you'd hoped as as was intended. Thank you for your support and enjoy your games!
I believe the complication that you mentioned is what the issue is. I just want to be able to click links in the rules handouts and get the actual rules, such as for Wild Attack as I cited, etc. I didn't expect to get the actual Adventure Edition compendium as well - just that the Pathfinder compendium would contain all the rules from the SWPF core system as advertised. I am content to wait for the Pathfinder compendium linking issue to be corrected. Thank you for clearing that up!
By the way, as I re-read my posts, I sound far more upset than I was. It's a flaw of mine to be overly blunt. I have recently become a big fan of Savage Worlds and Pinnacle. The company and staff have treated me very well and I have found all Pinnacle's products to be top-notch. I want everyone who sees these posts to know that!

Just to follow-up. We made a few fixes to the data structure and re-indexed the compendium. This should reduce, but not eliminate, these linking issues. Many links are automatically generated by the Roll20 database and can't be properly redirected. The best solution is to use search, which can search inside all articles in the compendium and works quite well. I see the specific issue of the Situational Rules Page. Not sure what is happening there and will dig a little deeper. VV

Right, Situational rules only had headings but no descriptions. I uploaded the proper content: https://roll20.net/compendium/SWADE/Rules:Situational%20Rules#toc_54 Once the Roll20 Compendium re-indexes (usually at 2am Eastern each day) all of these combat maneuvers will show up in search. If you find any other areas like this please send an email to our help desk and we will look into it for you. PEG Roll20 Support VV

I can see the situational rules now. Thanks again!
