[LFG][5e][PAID] Semi-experienced player looking for one shot (willing to pay) - Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun between 09.00-21.00 GMT+2 start time

Hi there! My name is Jor (she/her), I'm about to be 28, and I'm from Canada, but living in Finland. I'm currently in 3 campaigns as a player and running my own 9-session mini, but I've been craving a one shot. Obviously with a one shot there isn't a lot of room for character development, but I would really enjoy a group that can RP and get into character while we're going about our business. I definitely require a friendly and respectful bunch so we can all have a positive experience. I'm absolutely willing to pay to play, but I'm also not opposed to free options if there is a newer DM looking for players. Availability:  Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun between 09.00-21.00 GMT+2 start time Experience:  Started watching in 2019. Have been playing since May 2021. Have played in a one shot, a 4-session mini, and am currently in 2 weekly and 1 biweekly longer-term campaigns, the earliest since June. I'm also DMing a 9-session mini myself, which is about to wrap up. What I've played:  I've played a barbarian, a monk, two clerics, and a druid. I've also controlled a blood hunter and another cleric for missing players in my campaign I run, as well as a higher level wizard NPC. Interested in playing:  I think for a one shot I would look at either a goblin or elven assassin rogue or a human divination wizard, but I'm also super interested in trying out a bard,  fighter, ranger, paladin, sorcerer, and warlock. Clearly there are a TON I'm looking forward to playing, so I could adapt to what the party could use to round it out.

Interesting, I don't think I've ever met someone in an active campaign that wants a one-shot. it's usually what people settle for when they can't get into a campaign.

Well, I don't want to pick up another proper campaign right now since I already have 4 on the go, but I love character creation and want to play around with something new, maybe even test out one of my backup ideas I have on reserve in case one of my PCs I'm playing dies. :)

Fair enough. I've never liked one-shots, running, or playing in them. I find the thing I enjoy the most is developing my character over time. It takes me a while to get the feel for who he is and what he wants to do.

I'm with you there. Character development is my favourite thing about playing. I just had a really fun player session yesterday with a couple hours of freeform RP. But I also love trying new stuff, and one shots are a great way to do that before I get invested in a super immersive backstory for a PC I end up not enjoying playing. I like having a mix.
