Character Sheets

I don't know what's on the drawing board for improving the character sheets, but myth-weavers.com has an awesome character sheet option. Don't know about integrating any of their functionality into Roll20, but they allow a sheet to be downloaded as an XML file. Maybe one improvement to the Roll20 sheet would be to allow the import of an XML file. I thought it worth mentioning as a possible option.
you can print the Myth-Weaver character sheet as a .pdf and copy them into the character sheet/handout areas. Are you looking for editable graphical sheets?
I haven't checked to see how it looks by copying it, but if it's not editable, it's not of much use. Currently. I just create a link to the sheet to open in a new tab. This works fine and all, but it would be nice to not have to go outside of Roll20 for a workable character sheet.
+1 I was just about to post about this too. It would be very nice to be able to use myth-weavers character sheets without having to leave Roll20. I think the XML approach would actually work out the best since that would also allow for custom character sheets.
+1 I really like the idea of being able to have all materials, especially sheets, in one place.  Our group mostly uses dndsheets.com and that's a pretty sporadic site in how often it's operational, but its also one of the only options that lets me see everyone's sheets without having to directly ask for it.  Having it built-in on Roll20 or being able to import our own sheet would be pretty great.

Nick, many people use Myth-weavers.com  and then post the link in the player's character sheet. It gives you the option to see it without having to ask for it.  - Gauss
If you don't like the myth-weavers.com website (for example, the Pathfinder sheet includes psionics and spells per day for cantrips/orisons and you don't want those things) or use a system that's not supported another decent alternative is to use Google Drive.  It requires you or your players to share the sheet but lets you set up a spreadsheet or text document for use as a character sheet. That being said I haven't found a whole lot of systems using character sheets that really need more detail than the text box built into the Journal.  Most Pathfinder/DnD characters have fairly small statblocks.  I usually throw in a couple of core attributes (ones used for calculations or variables) and add the character's common abilities to the sheet. I've personally just been using myth-weavers for the full sheet with a link at the top of the Bio section and a small statblock below the link for combat stats and common skills.  After running a couple of games, though, both my players and I found that we were never bothering to click the link as we had all the info we needed for running the game right below it.  Sure, once and a while we may need to know if someone has rope or not but I don't see why all those details can't fit in the current built-in sheets. Then again, I may be biased as I'm used to creating my characters and NPCs in notepad =).  Character sheets tend to have a lot of wasted space in my opinion. Good luck!
