UPDATE No more potentials at this time, thank you! I'll get back with everyone who showed interest soon. Hey! Three of my long-time players and I are starting a new campaign at level 1 in Wildemount. Once Call of the Netherdeep comes out, we will transition into that. We're looking to add 1 or 2 more to our group. We have not had session 0 yet. I'm hoping we can have a session 0 soon, and then get a couple of sessions in before the new year, and then really jump in a week or two into January '22. Player Rules: 18+/mature. Everyone is welcome. LGBTQ+ friendly, respect pronouns, all religions welcome, etc. It's okay if English isn't you're first language, as long as we can communicate fairly easily. New players very welcome. When: Sundays, biweekly (session 0 on November 21 hopefully...), about 5PM to 8:30PM EST. About: This won't be a great game for murder hobo-ing or chaotic stupid alignments. I'd say about 66% of sessions I run have combat, so it's not uncommon at all to have a session that's much more about roleplaying, especially once the group starts to get comfortable together. I stay pretty close to RAI (rules as intended), but I'm definitely okay with cool dramatic moments. If you notice I'm forgetting or misinterpretting a rule, you can definitely bring that up to me at the time, I certainly don't have a perfect memory. Good chance you'll be right, I may have a reason for doing it differently, I might just appear to be doing it differently, or I may disagree. I'll hear you out as long as it's not slowing the game down too much, then decide and keep the game going, and we can look it up when we have time later. Characters: No homebrew races, classes, or subclasses. Reskinning races, classes, or subclasses is definitely an option. Player's Handbook, Dungeonmaster's Guide, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Volo's Guide to Monsters, Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything are all definitely allowed, but if you want to play something else that's published, it's probably okay as well (those are just the books I own, am familiar with, and can easily reference). House Rules Powerful Crits (max damage on 1 die on a critical hit) ASI and Feats (ASI levels, you can raise 1 ability score and take a feat) Stats (everyone gets a 17 and a 9, then [roll 4d6 keep highest 3] 5 times, keep the best 4) I'm more interested a player who will fit well with the group than I am an interesting character concept. We're all a bunch of nerds and friends, so we enjoy chatting about movies and shows before we start. If you're interested in joining, feel free to ask me any questions or message me. It's the holidays right now, so I know the next month and a half will be pretty hectic for a lot of people, and that will be the same for our group. But, once the holidays are over, we'd like players who can make most Sundays (since it's already every other). If people miss but we still have a few players, we'll sometimes run a quick non-canon battle, just so we still get to play.
