If I turn on auto roll damage/criticals, that seems to work, but still can't find a way to roll them independently.

The app should always auto-roll damage right now. We're currently trying to fix a bug where that doesn't always happen and you have to manually set it to auto-roll damage. Sorry for the confusion!
