Availability - 1 slot available in a party of 5. Sessions are 3hrs, every other Sunday, starting at 8pm UTC. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10 per session. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. The story so far - the world is Forgotten Realms, 1499DR. That means all canon is in place and there have been a few recent events. The party found themselves near Hillsfar and swept up in a regime change there - hopefully for the better, as non-humans are allowed in for the first time in decades. The party for their role in the change were made ambassadors and travelled to Moonsea towns to gain support for the new situation. After returning from Melvaunt there was a surprising visitor to the kingdom telling of a great threat to more than just the realm. The party are currently looking for arcane allies in Astrazalian which has appeared in the Moonsea for the first time in generations… Your character - You would start at level 5 or 6 (same as the party) and I will work with you to suggest tweaks to your backstory to align with recent world events and ensure that I have some interesting hooks for your character both now and in the future. This will include something unique to balance power levels and lean in to the flavour of your character. The campaign - 5e, homebrew but mostly RAW. Long term, with a focus on high production value and a slick Roll20 setup. The party has essentially completed the prologue and is making a meaningful impact on act 1. What happens going forwards is entirely in the players' hands! Voice and Video on Discord. No streaming is permitted. The DM - I have a lot of experience DMing D&D (5e) using Roll20 and write a commercial adventure each month for a Patreon. I pride myself in ensuring high production values and making things as smooth and immersive for my players wherever possible. I also work hard to match the experience (flow, challenge, balance etc) to the preferences of my players, and ensure more than anything that everybody has fun! I'm mid 30s and a father to a 4 year old - I'm not sure whether my daughter or AL players have taught me more patience! What I am sure of is that I value my time, and I'm sure you do too - that's why I'm organised and have invested so much time learning and setting up easy to use automation in my games for both myself and my players. I have also built (and organised!) an extensive library of maps, assets, art, adventures, and other goodies that help turn a good game into a great game; fast. And if I still can't find what I need I'll make it (maps, narrative, character descriptions) or commission it (music, character art).
