Harengon Initiative

Hi, One of my players has created a harengon, and it isn't doing the initiative correctly (it should be dex + proficiency). I couldn't see any built-in option - so I altered the initiative value in the abilities tab (@{dexterity_mod}+@{pb}) which works when you roll but also displays that whole string in the initiative box - can someone give me a clue on what I have done wrong (re the display)? Also how do you report bugs in prebought modules -  because this bit of Wild Beyond Witchlight isn't working? Thanks, Tim
I will also not be surprised if the answer is "your friend made fundamental error X when creating, make him do it again" :)

I can't answer as to why this doesn't work out of the box (other than it's much easier for Wizards to write a new rule than software to account for it). But the best way to get this in front of the devs is a  Help Center Request .
Thanks for the heads up on the official fix, any tips on the work around? I.e it rolls right but the number on the sheet is a text field. When I say rolls right it shows d20+3+2 (roll+dex mod+proficiency bonus) and not d20 +5 Thanks again.
You can put the PB# in the initiative modifier - or "initmod" on the attributes & abilities tab - this will make it roll how you want, however since it isn't a formula if the initiative goes up you will have to adjust manually.  
Thanks Tom - that is specifically what we are trying to avoid after one of our players went through three months of Tomb of Annihilation with an accidental nerf. I've got the roll working and we tested it and it does scale. The issue — which we can live with — is presentation. I'm sure its some kind of rookie mistake I'm making. On the attributes and abilities tab I've done: initiative_bonus = {@{dexterity_mod}+@{pb}} And that adds them both to the roll, so I was hoping I'd done something daft with the brackets and there was someone for that to just evaluate to the current number (i.e. 5) thanks, Tim
