I know this is a long shot, but if you don't try, you'll never succeed. Hello peeps, my name is Harris and I'm looking for a group for Vampire the Masquerade! A little info about me: I'm 35, live in Greece (that's GMT+2) and I speak English fluently. I'm a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi books. I've been through all the classics (Tolkien, Jordan, Moorcock, W40k Heresy, Dune saga etc). I also went through all of the greek mythology when I was very young (it's fantasy, duh!) I'm an avid gamer, especially where strategy, RPGs and competitive PVP are concerned. I’ve also been playing D&D online for the last couple of years. Regarding the Kindred, I’ve always been a fan of the lore of the Children of the Night. I’ve gone through several books, including the original Dracula , as well as the Vampire Chronicles. I’ve also seen most of the movies and series out there (from old black-and-white with the late Sir Christopher Lee to Blade and Underworld), including some anime (Van Helsing’s Alucard was an unexpected treat). I’m looking forward to catching up on True Blood at some point and possibly reading the Southern Vampire mysteries, but I will not be watching Twilight unless physically forced to. I got drawn to Vampire the Masquerade by watching several streamed episodes, mostly from Geek and Sundry. Asking my D&D groups, I was told it’s a beautifully enticing game, so I decided to look for a group. Regarding the system and the lore, I’m totally wet behind the ears when it comes to Vampire the Masquerade, but I’ve got some experience roleplaying with D&D. Still, I’m open and ready to study and research what I’m pointed at and I think I’m a rather fast learner. I couldn't say what my game style will be; in D&D I care for combat as much as for the story/roleplaying part (strategy and rpgs, remember?). My only requirements would be a DM and a group tolerant to small mistakes and a little guidance at the beginning.I'd rather join a new campaign (don't mind if the group is new or not), but if the DM thinks I can catch up, I can try to join a game that's already underway. The easiest would be for me to roleplay a newly-embraced fledgling, in need of discipline and education! My timezone and work allow me to join games on weekdays (times between GMT 16:00 - 22:00),and on weekends (wide range of GMT 8:00-22:00). I can easily follow a 4 hour session once a week (my D&D sessions are just as big), as long as I have snacks available (which I always do).I've got a working mic and a camera. My discord name is Harris Grekos#3182. If you think I fit into your party, please throw me a shout.
