New Homebrew Campaign :Gods of Atlantis

Hello,  my name is Surgat,  and I am looking to open a doorway for you to a long lost world.  One that existed in the mind of ancient philosophers and who’s power still exists in the heart and soul of Man today.  I have started creating a new Campaign (after a much needed break from the game) in regard to a subject I hold near and dear, Gods of Atlantis.  Some names may seem familiar, and some may cause a raised eyebrow. (It’s just a game…right?) other than the structure of this ancient beautiful land the story itself: you will be directly involved with the future of this advanced island of Witchcraft and Sorcery.  I am in the beginning stages but I plan on starting before the adventure is fully completed.  Session Zero within the next 2-3 weeks.  Looking for committed mature players 18 and up.  All types and beliefs are welcome as long as you are not skittish to a little darkness,  some dark spirits, and definitely 18 and over content. Come with an open mind.  This is a religious game in the sense that it is based on the powers of gods and spirits, so if that is not your thing,  then look elsewhere as well.  This should be fun.  My goal is to have a fun game!  I DMed the 5e DND for over a year weekly, so I have the experience.  It may be a bit of an adjustment due to my break.  I’m not a huge fan of rules nazis.  I go by the rules in combat but we must remember this is not a video game and battle mats are for reference.  The most value is from the images you create in your own mind, and I would like to create them together. You are free to ask whatever you would have an idea playing, try to make it fit in the world.  Think Ancient Greece in a Nightmare Landscape, terrifying but also beautiful.  Two green eyes watch from the sky in the distance awaiting your reply. This sounds very interesting and I would like to join. My discord is redcatgirl#7400
I just added you on there.  That is also where I prefer to communicate,  however I have had posts on here involving discord deleted in the past so yours here may be.  No problem,  you are added on there now.
Hi, I had a few questions about this campaign, if that's alright. For reference, what time and day did you have in mind for the sessions? Are we gonna have to make characters who are the servants of those gods mentioned? When you say Nightmare Landscape, is the game gonna be horror or some cthulhu-esque psychological setting with eldritch horrors? Along those lines, is it gonna be a heroic adventure, like most other DnD games, or more us trying to dodge all the nightmare stuff, Call of Cthulhu style? Are we gonna feel like heroes or worthless because everything around us way more powerful? Are you planning for a long-term campaign? Sorry for all the questions :D I got curious, since I also like the legend of Atlantis and its many iterations in different media.
Those are all valid questions that I am sure others would want the answers to as well.  Time would most certainly be at night at say 9est. the campaign will be a mix of both of those things, horror and a heroic adventure.  Your character will not have to be servants of those gods, but at some point sacrifices may be needed to gain their favor.  Think of them as supreme beings who are more watchers than controllers,  who won’t step in unless petitioned.  They are above normal ideas of good and evil.   It would be considered a long term campaign. I plan to split it into parts, with each part having a quest which is part of the main quest.   As far as the actual terrain and characteristics this will be mostly from my imagination.

Thank you for the info :) It seems like an interesting campaign, but unfortunately the time wouldn't work out for me in that case. (I'm in CET, which is 6 hours ahead, so 9pm EST would be way too late)
