The Game is Full! For these casual games, people will sometimes drop last minute. You're welcome to come over to the server and be wait-listed in case that happens (no promises, but it usually does happen at least once). (My next one-offs series will likely be Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of -- possibly in February. PM me if interested. ) Game Day With Call of Cthulhu! Date: Saturday, December 18th Start Time: 9:00 AM PST / 5:00 PM GMT Duration: 5 hours, +1 hour optional buffer, if needed to finish. Voice: Voice will be run on Discord Everything Else: Roll20 is used for everything else: character sheets, maps, handouts, music, and sound effects With a shaking hand, Merriweather coughs and takes something from beneath his sheets and pulls back the curtain. Good Lord! Rupert is only sixty. But his hand is gaunt, skeletal, like a man of many more decades. And the hand he is now holding out is covered with weeping lesions. These appear dark and moist and pulsate slightly. He is holding an ornate iron key. His quavering hand holds the key aloft for one of you to take it. It seems he’s using some of the last of his strength to hold this key out to you. Again, this is j ust an easy-going game day to have some fun and socialize. We'll be using the module from the Starter Set, Edge of Darkness . Players have the option to play a pre-generated character that's ready to go, or if there's time, they can create a brand new character. This will be my fourth time running this module. We just recently wrapped up a successful conclusion and I decided to run some bonus sessions this holiday season in order to meet some more Call of Cthulhu aficionados. (Or is that meat some more investigators?) As always for my games, the primary rules for interaction are courtesy, patience, acceptance, tolerance, and having respect for everyone. Newbies are welcome. Games are always free. Having or knowing the rules is never required. And for " one-off" social games like this, characters will be provided. All you need to do is show up, ready to have some fun. For those who would like to know more about Call of Cthulhu , here is a Video of Becca Scott's introduction to the game's 7th edition rules, helpful for beginners. But again, there is no need to know the rules. Roll20's character sheets do most of the work for you and we can explain things as we go along. You just need Discord, and a Roll20 account, both free. Also, the Investigator Handbook 7th edition has been added to the game for players to use.
