The Magical Land Of Valandria is meant to be an escape from our world! It's filled with wonder and mystery! From the Boiling Desert to the Mossy Void the world of Valandria holds so many surprises! Join me as we uncover this world and create memories that will last a lifetime! This is an Ongoing campaign with heavy Roleplay aspects. We are beginner-friendly and willing to show anyone the ropes. Name: Raymond (Ray)/Aziraya Age: 29 Pronouns: Masculine (but honestly don't care that much what you call me: "Gender Apathetic") Experience: About 2 years Pathfinder 1st edition, 4 years-ish 5th Edition D&D. Expectations: None, other than at least some heavy semblance of either RAW or RAI. I expect to actually feel like I'm playing 5th edition even if things are tweaked here and there. Until I see how the DM does their thing I don't like to make assumptions since I know different styles all have their positives and negatives. Discord: Aziraya#5601 I have a large amount of experience with 5th edition but steer away from min maxing or other powerplay and like to have an open communication with DMs, including insight (only if they wish for it). I'd be happy to be a chill member in your games! I'm pretty flexible with houserules and tend to tell the DM upfront if my planned build has any weird rulings or gray areas  before  making the character just to make sure that there's no blindsiding and I'm open to concerns afterward as well. On the flip side, I expect open communication from the DM in return so I don't feel like something doesn't behave how I expected it to when it's a crucial part of my character. I like to make builds outside of the normal min-maxing umbrella but still being effective meaning I'm rarely the best character at the table but can still contribute in unorthodox fashion. I also love the informational back and forth if there are headcanons about setting that feeds into backstory or other info. Name: Kevin Age: 26 Pronouns: He/Him Experience: Been DMing for 18 months, been a player for about a year in 5E. Have experience playing 4E and smaller RPGs (Fiasco). Expectations: Looking for a roleplay-heavy campaign. I would work with the DM to flesh out a character that is closely tied to the campaign setting. Will work on developing the backstory, personality, mannerisms, and motivations of my character so that we can create a strong foundation for shared storytelling. Looking for a group where all the players think critically about their roleplaying, basically "how am I processing/reacting to the world through the mind and eyes of my character?" every step of the way.
