This campaign will start at level 4, and you will get your starting equipment via your class. We either roll for hp, or you may take average(not a hybrid mix). I will listen, and consider custom homebrew, but no promises. Allowed books are the following: PHB, Volo's, and Xanathars. In addition, I will also be using inspiration cards in this game. Rewards for showing up on time, and participating in the session the whole time. Also I hand out cards to exceptional roleplay, and or occasionally very unusual actions in combat that are found to be entertaining. The game listing is here https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/316372/curse-of-strahd My standards: Demonstrating good microphone etiquette. Being honest Having good attendance/coming on time. (Your bonus insp. cards depends on it.) Showing myself, and others respect. I am interested in characters you want to play/rp, not builds. (I will explain that in more clarity in an interview.) I allow every alignment, just note two things: - One, if you plan to be evil, or even chaotic neutral you must find a way this character will fit into the setting. - Two, the player in question must demonstrate maturity in playing such type of character. If you are unable to handle this, you will be asked to tone it down, or make a new character. This game is mainly RP focused. Your best defense in your mind. Use it, and you have nothing much to worry about. Game time will average around 4-5 hours. Of course some sessions might be shorter, maybe even longer so make sure if you apply to this game you are available to play that long. This means, people with jobs that change schedules, college students with hectic or erratic schedules, people with family obligations need not apply. I want people that can be here reasonably not folks who try to fit this game in with their overly busy schedule. GM Style: I would consider myself a person who prefers to tell a story, rather than pay attention to the status quo of what other GM's have done to be successful. I believe in my players is what make the game happen, without them, you have nothing. If there is a logical, reasonable way to go about doing something I will heavily consider it. Especially if a player comes to me in confidence about it, or with others whom feel the same way. Lastly, I believe that communication solves most problems. If there is a problem you are having, lets talk about it, not bottle it up. Well that is really all I can say, so any who are interested please post your age, and tell me a little about yourself. You need not post the character you want to play as in the post area. I want to know about the player more. - Then I would like you to tell me what you expect out of the campaign, what do you expect from me the GM? - What kind of player are you? How are you at the table with other people? - Are you more of a role player, or more combat oriented person? - Do you have any pet peeves I need to know about? Please answer these questions honestly, and accurately. This will be important for the ones I decide to interview.
