Heyo everyone! So I have been wanting to play in a legend of zelda game for a while now, and despite the lore that gerudo is only female, I actually want to try and play as a male gerudo. The reason for this is that with the lore of ganon and how male gerudos would be executed by gerudo women, I have a feeling that male gerudos would always get a bad rep, so im thinking, "why not make a good gerudo guy?" And thus, Jotaka, the Gerudo male fighter was crafted! And for those who would want to be lore friendly, I have a decent backstory on how I want to go by it. But to put it simply: He was raised by gerudo gypsy mom and merchant hylian dad. They try to raise him in secret so he wouldnt become the next ganon. However, on Jota's 16th birthday, the twinrozas came to them, and tried to bargain with the couple to let them take Jota to become the next demon king. When they refused, the parents bought some time for Jota to escape before being executed by the twin witches. Without family or friends, Jotaka wonders Hyrule as a masked bandit, running away from the twin witches and wishing for a place to accept who he is, and to fond a way to change his destiny.
