This Session is Full! I will take recommendations for the next Call of Cthulhu one-off that you'd like to see played. (I will also be running Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of -- in February. ) Game Day With  Call of Cthulhu! Date:  Saturday, January 8th Start Time:  9:00 AM PST / 5:00 PM GMT Duration:  5 hours, +1 hour optional buffer, if needed to finish. Voice:  Voice will be run on Discord Everything Else:  Roll20 is used for everything else: character sheets, maps, handouts, music, and sound effects The assembled gathered around the table and, as instructed, took their seats and joined hands. Each had paid a good sum to sit there; there was a palpable excitement, no one doubting that they would soon get their money’s worth. As Madame Myberg reached out to grasp the hands of those to either side of her, the circle was finally complete. The sudden rush of cold air extinguished all nervous giggles and whispers, as well any candles, plunging the room into near darkness. It wasn’t quite pitch black, as there was a barely perceptible glow in the middle of the table that grew in intensity over the next few seconds. The cold light revealed wide eyes focused on what was forming. And as the light grew, so did the coldness that firmly gripped each person’s heart, almost as hard as the fingers locked around that table in fear. This investigation is a revamp of an older CoC title that had been OOP until recently. This investigation carries a Mature proviso, as it potentially deals with a topic that is still controversial, even today. For that reason,  I'm requiring that any players must be 18+ and be comfortable dealing with mature controversial matters , should they arise. I also ask that only those who have not been exposed to this module's storyline sign up. If you've played, read, or run this module, there won't be any suspense for you. Again, this is  j ust an easy-going game day to have some fun and socialize.  Players have the option to play a pre-generated character that's ready to go, or if there's time, they can create a brand new character. As always for my games, the primary rules for interaction are courtesy, patience, acceptance, tolerance, and having respect for everyone. Newbies are welcome. Games are always free. Having or knowing the rules is never required. And for " one-off"  social games like this, characters will be provided. All you need to do is show up, ready to have some fun. For those who would like to know more about  Call of Cthulhu , here is a  Video  of Becca Scott's introduction to the game's 7th edition rules, helpful for beginners.  But again, there is no need to know the rules. Roll20's character sheets do most of the work for you and we can explain things as we go along. You just need Discord, and a Roll20 account, both free. Also, the  Investigators Handbook  7th edition has been added to the game for players to use.
