So first things first why Pay to Play. I am worth it enough said.... no really the reason i choose to make this game pay to play is the many hours of prep I put in to story writing, battle maps, ambient sounds, character development, player feed back for future story progression and just a desire to do a good job and to give my players the best chance to play alongside other great players that will show up on time in a good mood to roleplay knowing that you and they need to get their monies worth. Financially once I have a consistent party together the money will go back in to improving the game with better maps audio and other content. Also its bloody hard to find a game that suits your free time... this will be weekly on Tuesdays 1800 hrs GMT starting on 11th January 2022 Secondly why choose me as your DM. I love this game, I love creating worlds and characters (not DM NPC's because they are the worst). I am committed to giving a good experience to all at the table and can take constructive criticism if its needed though it wont be haha. What's the story. Well I have taken the things I love and hate about the D&D5e system and some themes from my favourite literature and come up with a world I want to share with some good people. MAGIC... I will be honest I am not a fan of the whole, I cast a spell and roll a dice and move to next player poorly descriptive flat feeling magic. I wanna hear descriptions of magic that make my eyes water or give me butterfly's in my stomach and to do this I need good players who feel like they have earnt that magic so when they cast a spell its not just a dice roll its worth your effort and your time showing up. Healing I just don't like it to be honest its always brushed over when the cleric gives you 8 hp back and your like cheers mate now watch me RAGE also if there is no healing magic there is a lot less murder hobo's and a lot more tacticians in the group. So Eshana has no magic arcane or divine and is gritty and dark and full of things that wanna eat you.....
