What was once bountiful farmland, forests and marshes, is now a vast wasteland full of ghoulish mockeries of what once made the land so beautiful to move across 15 years prior. Nothing rots in this now accursed land. The dead no longer waste away to nothing, but instead linger to watch the living who dare cross this vast stretch of land. The land and towns outside the once great city of Crucible are a ruin of patch-worked cratered lands from the great meteor called Shard. It descended from the heavens and brought with it ruin and the undead. The Shard mists bring the living and the dead to state of undeath. With the fall of the Capital, the Republic of Revelo is just now coming out of the chaos which followed in the wake of the great calamity. Opportunity now awaits those who would travel the Craterlands to the city of Crucible. A city of skyscrapers and floating islands, it is  the alchemical and industrial hub of the Republic. It now offers a grim prize for those looking to collect shard or lost treasures in the city. The Shard brought wrath and undeath but it also brings life and a strange new type of magic called Necromancy. With it, death can be reversed for better or for worse. Whether you have come back to Crucible to reclaim what was yours, Kill the undead for the holy orders of the Passions or just seek the vast treasures and knowledge inside Crucible. We will see what awaits you. What you can expect from this campaign: - Professional: you can expect the sessions to be prepared for with care and with inclusion of the player character's background and preferred playstyle. In addition, care is put in the well-being of the players and of the group.  - The world: The world is described vividly and the people in it feel like they can be real, I will display their convictions and morals and the npcs will show these in a realistic way. - Battles: Are balanced and tough but always winnable. Expect a variety of enemies who fight in a way that makes sense to them. - Story: The story is told in an engaging and descriptive way. It will keep you guessing and curious about the next step on your path to adventure. Mystery, however difficult to make work in dnd 5e, does have its way Basic Rules -  First session is half-price (6$) - Half-way through the session there will be a 10-15min break (not included in the initial session length) - PG 13 sexual content (If there is any romance it will not go beyond this point "fade to black") - Victim Based PVP/Stealing (means the victim needs to agree I will explain more in the interview) - Standard array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or 27 point buy. - Characters Start at  2nd level - Any Homebrew rules can be found below in the "Homebrew Rules" topic on the roll20 application page. Me as a DM -  I have over 11 thousand hours of d&d experience in roll20 and several thousand more from my time before roll20. - Treat all players as equal. - Respectful of rules, but still lean towards "Rule of Cool". - Voice acting, with clear audio. - Swift response time to questions and complaints. - On time for every session. - To deliver a  comfortable and fun time  for all who participate. - I mostly roll in the open, there will be times where i feel like rolling in private would be better. - I will never fudge rolls to hinder the party, and I will never create unwinnable encounters. Why pay to play? A lot of games have the issue of having flaky DM's and players, meaning that either players just drop out whenever for whatever reason and DM's just stop running the game. And it's common knowledge that when people put money on the line they tend to take things more seriously. I have been running professional games now for over 11,000hrs, It has been 2 years now that I have run the game as a job. With well over 40 players combined in my games you will join a community of other players. * current size of the community Payment and Refund Policy My standard rate is  13.5$/Session  per person for a  3h game . If it so happens that the players would like to extend the duration of the sessions by an hour, I would charge an  extra 2.5$  per person If you are ***happy with the game***, and see yourself playing for some time, you can pay ***50$ for a full month*** (4 Games) of playtime. (***Not including game extension***) **Refunds for sessions will occur for the following reasons:** - Session zero and Character creation are free. - You are expected to pay for the game regardless of if you are absent or not. - After every 12 session you get 1 an absence without having to pay, even working retroactively  - If there are technical issues with Roll20 that cause the game to be cancelled. - If the DM is forced to cancel a session for any reason. As the DM, I reserve the right to accept, deny, or remove players from the game, as well as the right to cancel the campaign at any time. Should any of these extreme situations occur, outstanding subscription balances will be refunded in full to all effected parties.        Link to application page Disclaimer  This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of 13.5$ to be payed through Paypal at 13.5$ and frequency of payment of Weekly.
