Looking for a couple new additions to ongoing campaign

I am DMing a 5E campaign we have been running for around two years - it started as Ghosts of Saltmarsh but has moved on since then to become more of an urban thing. The PCs are 10th level but we have recently lost some of the them and only have two left. I'm looking for some new players that are okay with joining an ongoing campaign and think they may be a good fit with our group. Up to this point we have had a mixed game, sometimes will have whole roleplaying sessions but usually a mix of that and combat. Anyone who joins would need to be comfortable with roleplaying and willing to work with our group - which is all 40-50 year old guys. I'm a somewhat new DM to 5E and am not a rules expert but try to keep things fun and interesting. Right now we run weekly starting at 8 pm eastern on Thursdays, but may be changing to a different day of the week soon.
I would be VERY interested!!!!
Please DM me, and i'll send you my discord.

i'm a 43 year old male who can be available at 8:00pm EST every other Thursday. This Thursday I am not available, but I should be next Thursday.
Hello there, Opportunities to play higher level characters in long term campaigns are rare, and as someone who loves role-playing (used to be a voice actor by trade, can't help it), the campaign sounds like it might be right for me. It always takes that first game to really know if you click, but as someone about to turn 37 next month, I assume that I'd be close enough to your age group. Certainly, I value maturity and do run my own paid games and streaming network - which has included D&D at times! - with that foremost in mind. Out of character, I respect others' comfort levels and aim to establish a friendship in a long term game like this. 8pm until 11pm EST would be feasible for me. Let me know if you'd be interested, by all means. A private message here, or a direct message to Legacy Ark Games#0725, would be quite welcome. From there, I'd make up my mind based upon the campaign and how much freedom you allow with creativity in character creation! I like to have my niche, so you'll get something you don't have played, but I sometimes like interesting races or subclasses.
Glad that there's interest! Let me talk to my existing players and nail down when we will be playing - that will be a necessity for scheduling - and I'll get back to you guys!

Reposting from my PM to you from earlier just so it doesn't get lost: === I'd be interested in joining. Been looking for a Thursday night game for a while. I've been playing game for a long time, starting with AD&D and V&V and have played all sorts of genres. I'm equally interested in RP/Exploration/Combat. I'm not a huge fan of dungeon crawls. Anyway, if I sound like someone you could work with, hit me up. I'd love to play.
Thanks for the interest all. After discussing this with my existing players we have decided to start a new campaign instead, and also to move to Monday nights (thinking twice a month right now.) I still am looking for another player or two but I understand if you're not interested given the major changes from my existing topic!
Hello!    What campaign are you planning on starting up? Or is it a home brew?  I have played a lot of 5e but have been out of it for around a year and wanting to get back into it again.   I'm comfortable role playing a character, I like having fun and understand the rules of 5E.   If interested, let me know.  Thanks, Hex
Hey there Hexabus, I'm definitely running 5E but with my own homebrew campaign. Here's the background info if you or anyone is interested. The Empire. There has always been an Empire - at least as long as anyone but the dustiest sages can remember. Continent-spanning, the Empire had provided stability and civilization, safety and peace, to uncountable thousands. Until that all changed.  The end of the Empire came in the form of the Ba'ani. These nomadic horsemen had long lived in the steppes to the far east, paying occasional duties to the Empire. For whatever reason, they united together in a huge confederation and attacked west. At first the Empire paid them little heed, until the first city was seized and burned. Imperial legions and citizens watched in horror as hundreds were sacrificed on the Ba'ani's blood-rite altars. The war was ugly, and lasted more than twenty years - and though the Empire had their victories here and there, the Ba'ani won more - through their horse archers, their barbarian strength in combat, and through their powerful blood magic. Cities were burned in their dozens, tens of thousands of citizens killed. In the end, the Empire was destroyed. Eventually the Ba'ani confederation, again for unknown reasons, collapsed. There were rumors of infighting, of leadership changes, of their blood-lust sated, but no non-Ba'ani really knows. Some of the tribespeople stayed in the old Empire, looting and pillaging or just settling down. Many others returned to their home steppes.  Then there was Imara. Once the farthest western outpost of the empire, a small city known for its trade through the Dryclaw mountains, it became the only city of any size to survive intact, as the Ba'ani fell apart before they reached it. At first Imarans celebrated their luck - then the refugees started pouring in. There was turmoil in the first years after The Collapse as it is known. There were threats of war and bloody fighting in the city streets but slowly, eventually, Imara returned to a fragile peace.  The city has been profoundly changed, suffering many losses in their military, mages, and others as the Empire grabbed for any tool at hand in its final years. Many more died or fled the city in the chaos afterward - but the city is still standing. The city Council, once handling local business and reporting to an imperial Senator, now runs the city. In some ways the Empire is still very present - in religion, in law, and in day-to-day life. In many others it is gone and will never be back. Imara was always a city of trade, it's economy built on shipments of food from the rich Farlands to the west over the mountains - this food fed many in the eastern Empire. Now with the Empire torn to pieces, some trade remains, but it has also become a city of adventurers. Many want their chance to seek their fortune in the ruined Empire, though it is said that few come back. Others want to explore the mysterious desert to the south, where it is said a magical people even older than the Empire once lived, and some of their ruins remain. There is certainly much valuable ore in the Dryclaw, for those willing to brave the humanoid tribes and more dangerous foes.
If you are still looking , I am interested. I run 2 games on the weekend and would love something weekday for me to just play. I'm 35 male been playing Dungeons and dragons for about a year still learning but I'm able to play just fine. Monday nights would work great for me as I'm actually off
