Hey, we had a great crew of DM and players, but I missed that he was a pay DM and the other players could not afford to join, so our great group full of cool, nice, fun, smart people splintered... my bad. THIS will NOT be a paid game. Let's start with this... this will be an adult-themed game, meaning the setting should be more like a seventies R-rated film, or those great sexy sword and sorcery low budget masterpieces of rubbish that made up eighties fantasy cinema. We want a game influenced by the likes of Frazetta, Fire and Ice, Conan, B-movies, pulp art and literature, etc. No "fantasy shaming" allowed, fantasies are just that, fantasies and nothing more. We have already decided to use 5e mechanics and do not want to go through that weedy conversation again. We have 3 players in search of a DM, (if need be, I can DM, though would prefer to play), but players also welcome. So there you have it, great group of people wanting to play first edition themes, style and setting with 5e mechanics. So if you want in as a player, preferably a DM, and you want to join us, let me know. If you can tell fantasy from reality... we'd love to have you! Politics (left or right) are absolutely NOT welcome! (Note exclamation point). I play D&D to get my mind off the real world horror show that is our disturbing political situation. And if you're an older player, I think you'll find a comfortable home here, it might just feel like old times... let's have some liberating freewheeling fun.
