Title says it all. In my handouts, I can format everything but suddenly tonight I can no longer change the color of text. It goes back to black when I save. Strangely enough...I can change the color of the highlight, just not the text itself.
I'm also having this problem. Changing font color in handouts is definitely bugged atm and there seems to be issues with pasting pictures into handouts too.
Bianca said: Both the font color and image pasting is fixed -- please let us know if something comes up! Should a fix like this be posted in the Change Log?
Hm, I appear to now be having issues with text formatting such as Superscripts and Underlining. I don't know if this is useful but when Superscripting text in the editor the text no long becomes smaller either. Disregard, just had to refresh my page :P
This is broken again. The in-game Summernote text editor was switched again to the version that cannot save colors on text (seemingly because it uses a different tag which is stripped by the html sanitization when saving the handout). 😞 Aside from the color issue, this version also breaks the ability to place paragraphs within a blockquote (done by switching the text within the blockquote to Normal and then hitting the Enter key to start a new paragraph). Hitting enter causes the blockquote to be split at the point where Enter was pressed so that there are multiple blockquotes instead of a single one.
I can confirm that it is broken again...of course, I only found out after hours of work and formatting. It changes in edit mode...but when we save the handout, the colors go bye-bye!
Hey folks, Confirming the issue on our end. We are looking into a fix now and will update with more info as soon as we have it. Sorry everyone for the trouble!
Another update! The problem should be fully resolved now and we've taken steps to prevent it from returning in the future. I've been told that you shouldn't even need to clear your cache/cookies so if you continue to have any issues please let me know!

Thank you for reporting it. Edit: I'm being told it was broken for a couple hours potentially but should be fixed again.
