Question. Can you turn off size editing as GM?

It' s annoying when I try to move a piece but instead of moving it I just end up  re-sizing  it. Anyway to turn this off? If not it would be a nice feature to add.

To resize it you need to grab the scalers on the sides or corners of the token. Alternately you can right click on it and set the dimensions directly using the 'Set Dimensions' tool.  - Gauss
My question was if I can turn off that ability of editing because sometimes it's hard to move pieces without accidentlly clicking on the scalers.

Oh, I thought it was reversed. My bad. No, you cannot currently turn it off. I will try to think of a way to move smaller tokens without resizing them. - Gauss

Hmmm, I only have a problem when I am zoomed out so much that the token is really tiny.  I would try this: zoom in bit, when you click on it if it starts to size change release and hit ctrl+z. Then try again.  If you click and release and then you can 'aim' by seeing what kind of mouse cursor you get. When you get a '4way' arrow you are in the center and should not engage the scalers.  I will post a bug report regarding this because I believe this rises to the level of a bug. It should not be doing scaling on the first click and hold.  - Gauss
The problem is that mostly I go over a token I want to move, click to select it and then in the same action (without releasing the mouse and reclicking) I move it. Now if by chance my mouse was over the size change marker (that I didn't see when clicking) the move resizes it. I think it would already help if, when you click on something that has not been selected yet, it will move. And to resize you actually have to target the markers themselves while the token is already selected. It happened to me a few times when I tried to copy and then move polygons I had drawn. The "obvious" point to click it (as I can only target the thin line of the actual polygon, I was aiming at where two lines collide to get a bigger window) was unfortunately also the point where a resize marker would show up, so that caused me to resize and distort them. (I learned and clicked on other parts then, but it was annoying) I assume it can also easily happen if you make a token smaller, to represent a small or tiny sized creature, that only takes up half the square or so, when suddenly the resize markers are almost as big as the token itself.
I too would like to have the ability to lock a token and prevent it from being resized.

Perhaps you can make a suggestion for locking a token. However, the scaler problem when you are not selecting the scalers should qualify as a bug and I have filed a bug report. Thank you for your interest. :) - Gauss
While that would sure help with a lot of the issues, there's one situation where it might not: Let's say I made a token very small. Targeting it already is very hard, so I use the drag+drop square selection tool. Now unfortunately the resize markers are so large compared to the token, that I can't find a place to actually move them. It would help if you could now press Ctrl or Shift or something and that would temporarly shut of those markers and force a move. Also since we're talking about resize issues already, here's another: If I resize something to less than 50% of a square and forget to press Alt, so that it snaps to grid, it snaps to a size of 0x0. That makes it utterly un-selectable. Even selecting the area won't select it. The only thing I found works is to immediately press Ctrl-Z to undo what you just did, otherwise that token is lost in the void forever. No chance of deleting or resizing it anymore.

I found out that if i delete a token from my library that I uploaded it is removed from the board. I had to do that with  0x0 tokens already..

Quatar, I suggest posting the suggestion in the appropriate forum. Metroknight, out of curiousity, why would you need to delete a token from your library to delete a 0x0 token? - Gauss

I discovered it by accident when goofing around and I couldn't find the token in any other manner. It is not something I would say to do as a standard action but that option is there apparently.
On the move issue, could you make the selection tools appear only on mouse up rather than on mouse down? Ideally, if the token was then dragged more than, say, 50% of its width the mouse up event would be ignored with regard to selection. That way the selection edit tools wouldn't appear at all for a click and drag to move a token.
