Extra die roll on a skill check

Trying to build my character sheet for a game, and running into an issue. The Mark of Hospitality Halflings get a permanent 1d4 on Persuasion checks, and I really don't want to have to try to remember to tick and untick a box under the global skill modifier for this - because I am absolutely going to forget to do it half the time. I've tried adjusting the macro under the Attributes and Abilities tab of the sheet, but any time I toggle or untoggle between advantage/disadvantage, and normal rolling, it just wipes it out and goes back to rolling without the added die roll. The same thing happens if my Cha modifier changes, apparently, because I thought to test that as well. Is there another way to do this that I'm missing? Or am I just gonna have to make myself 500 notes to remember to use the ticky box? Macro for reference: @{wtype}&{template:simple} {{rname=^{persuasion-u}}} {{mod=@{persuasion_bonus}}} {{r1=[[@{d20}+4[charisma]+1d4[Ever Hospitable]@{pbd_safe}]]}} @{advantagetoggle}+4[charisma]+1d4[Ever Hospitable]@{pbd_safe}]]}} {{global=@{global_skill_mod}}} @{charname_output} I've tried this with changing the charisma bracket to @{perception_bonus} as well, just to see if it would fix the issue of when the charisma stat changes, but no luck there, either.
I actually use group check with a selected macro setup for the players in doing all their d20 rolls basically and you can add in custom checks specifically for things like this and then directly edit that players group check macro and swap in the eberron roll syntax in the spot that the rest of the players have a normal roll.  Sadly this requires API access though you might be able to pull this off with that other skill check macro out there that just uses the regular templates.
