Waypoint patrol bug with video

I am using with great pleasure !wp to set up patrols. One problem, every time a patrol arrives at the end of its path, there is a white marker with info on speed and direction that is visible to all players, and is even emitting light. In the video, you can see the point of view (command L) from one player at the top of this (very big) map. Can someone help ? here is a gif of my screen : you can also watch the video (20s) : https://vimeo.com/675413513 Also, here are the api I use : Help please !

This happens because it updates the last move, which causes it to display with a ruler the distance moved. I don't think this used to be a problem, it came in as a bug when the layer system was rewritten a few years ago. The fix would be to adjust the script to not set that property. The annoying thing would be it won't hug the path as well if that's done, or it will need to be more complicated about how it does it.
OK, so the good news is I was probably doing nothing wrong, the bad news is that, as is, it is mostly useless, and I cant say I feel inspired by the fix you suggest. If it seems complicated to you, then it's certainly not worth for me to look at it. But thanks, it was a great idea !

Lol. Where can I find the script, I'll take a look at it. I might be able to work out a suitable solution. =D
I thought it was one of yours ! Sorry. I think I got it from here : https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2991336/script-patrols-using-waypoints/?pageforid=2991336#post-2991336 But now I realize that it is quite old, and that the guy who wrote it is probably not around here anymore. It was pretty complicated, and installed several other script with it (about math I think). I am sure with the current tech, it can be easier to rewrite. I'll see if I can convince one of my IT engineer sons to look into it...Thanks for caring !
