Tried submitting a new topic with images included and got an error

Now my bug report is lost after adding a bunch of images to reproduce the error. I received this page after clicking "Post Topic": An error was encountered Don't worry; it's not like you triggered the end of the world...right? If you message us about the error, please give us the error ID below so we can look it up: 55522a329c124b51b7c01133101a6755
The error message is cut off (consider this another bug report with your forum software) but the error ID is 55522a329c124b51b7c01133101a6755
There's another cut off message. Bug report: your forum post breaks if you try to copy and paste into the field, apparently. Browser: Firefox 96.0.3

Yes, I'm not sure that has ever worked.  If you are copy/pasting from your computer, it lacks something to display correctly on the forum. I haven't had any problem when using the insert image dialogue though.

yeah, it's best to use the "insert image" button here. Copypasting images into the editor gives me that error too

Yes. Copying an image from a source on your hard drive has never worked (at least not for the five years or so since the text editor changeover). You need to copy and paste from an online source, or for hard drive images, use the upload button. Frustrating, but once it happens to you, you never forget.
