Deleting a newly create page breaks the page bar

Create a new page using the last "insert page" button A new page with a white thumbnail will appear: Delete the newly created page. The page will re-appear with a blank thumbnail. Delete the page again and it will stay deleted this time. A second "insert page" button will now appear in the Pages bar. Browser: Firefox 96.0.3 and Brave Version 1.35.101 (Chromium: 98.0.4758.87)
