Using webm files

I'm trying to use some webm files and having serious issues. According to the official documentation on best practices for files on Roll20, webm files are supported.  As a Pro subscriber, I'm supposed to be able to use up to 10MB files.  I'm trying to upload a webm file that is only 1.2MB in size, which is significantly smaller than the threshold.  I've also done this with Firefox and with Edge, both updated to the newest version.  I've also done this after disabling all extensions, blockers, etc. The upload bar shows up when I begin the upload.  However, it never fills or moves.  Just sits there as a gray bar.  It never actually uploads to the library, but if I close my browser and reconnect to the game, the item shows up.  It isn't a valid file though, which implies that the upload is not completed. Upload after 15 minutes: What am I supposed to do here?

Roll20 extensively modifies and optimizes the webm as it uploads. I have rarely worked with webm,but I have seen reports of over an hour for uploading such a file.

Are you dragging the file from a zipped folder or a compressed hard drive?  If so, I too experience this bug, the timer never clears, if you refresh the page, you get a new upload in the images tab though that is the image you were trying to upload.   This will happen alot if you grab your art from google drives cause the artists very often put them all in zips so they download easier.  Then you open the folder in windows 8+ and forget its a zip and drag and drop it into roll20.

You should open a new tab, load into roll20, any session and check if the file is there already.  When that bug happens to me, its there in the art library and its just the window that fails to close/respond.

Also, these pages might be of some help: Image/Audio Upload Troubleshooting Best Practices for Files on Roll20 I did exactly that, actually.  The console logs kept showing a weird 403 error in there for an AWS URL.  Not sure if that's related, or some other process that's running in the editor maybe.  Fingers crossed that they can figure this out, as it's apparently been happening for years (based on other forum messages). I've been trying to upload this file for 24 hours, and it's still showing 0 progress.  I submitted a ticket to Roll20, which promptly got swept under the rug of "it's with our Development team".  In fact, they told me that I could track the progress in this very forum - and there's nothing here. Roll20, give me a reason to keep giving you money.

I was absolutely serious when I demanded that Roll20 give me a reason to keep giving them money.&nbsp; I'm fed up with this whole "it's supported but it doesn't work, and we don't do shit about it" kind of attitude that they're displaying.

Oohhhh, my bad, ok in that case that changes things entirely.&nbsp; gifs for me are about 1 hour for every 100k size.&nbsp; How large is your gif?&nbsp;

Isn't there a thread in the suggestions forum to support webm-Files? Although it may be stated that Roll20 supports Webm I think it just does not work as the Information about this is wrong and that many others have experienced the exact same Problem...
