
The option to disable or enable the "speaking as" avatar ingame disappears if you don't have the audio/video chat stuff activated. We don't use the roll20 communication software, but the changing the avatars are still really helpful since there is no option to set avatar per game. We spent half an hour searching for the setting to fix the issue of the avatars not updating properly before I thought to turn that roll20 a/v chat on to look.
