Hire Some More Devs

No, seriously. The back end has been chugging for a month and you have so many obvious features that need implementing that while non-trivial are only difficult at all because of legacy code. The problem is that your competition doesn’t have legacy code to deal with and it is not your users’ problem, it’s yours. How is your management not going crazy over the objectively outrageous state of a public facing feedback section where legitimate functionality requests lay dormant / unheeded for years? How is your management not crestfallen with the widespread embracing of Foundry by the 3rd party content producers at all scales? You have the power to make things better. Spend a small amount of money on some more Devs and save your market share.
There was a job-ad out not long ago. If you know people who are interested and qualified.... There is a general problem with a shortage of developers, that is occasionally bubbling up in the media under headlines like "The 2021 Software Developer Shortage Is Coming"  ||  "The developer shortage isn't going away, so it's time to start thinking differently" etc.
That was explicitly for character sheets which is backfilling a position. I of course am not privy to the inner workings of Roll20s team, but they are clearly down headcount vs that necessary to meet user expectations - that’s not the only consideration, but the gap is large!
