Cyberpunk Red interest (Monday or Tuesday)

Hey there, threads pretty simple. Been looking to be a player in a proper Cyberpunk red game for awhile now ever since it's released and if anything is out there or might be in the forming I'd love to throw my hat in to joining up in a group on Monday or Tuesday, potentially even Sunday. I am CST based and would be available at any point during those days time wise, maturity and content isn't an issue, as long as I have the flexibility to create a character regardless of gender or the like despite what I am personally if I so choose. (Surprisingly this has been an issue before with people, even though these are roleplaying games) Right now Nomad, Exec or Solo are my big interests character wise. But without further ado, I hope to potentially hear from people in the near future on this if possible, maybe eventually I finally get into a game on this system, haha. 

I've been thinking of doing an old cyberpunk first edition game. I used to run it here and I've played in it here but now that the new version is out I'm looking to expand into the cyberpunk red version. I have yet to get the Red book, but I can order it. Are you looking for a pre-established group? or are you looking to form a group based around you? I don't have any problem with people playing different genders. As a referee I often have to portray various characters that are not my native gender. Are you looking for a paid game or a free game?

Either way works for me group wise, I don't have anyone as of yet.  Free game would be preferred, I don't really like the idea of having to pay just to roleplay, or charge to run on the other end of things if I can help it.

Not sending that on open thread so can take this to PM at the very least. I don't think there are any official modules for this, but sandbox styled overall would be preferred. 

Well I think it's using the same system as the old version with a timeshift between 2020 and the 2077 software that was just released a few months ago so that it is set in 2045 but all those modules are flexible I mean from what I just read of a review of cyberpunk red it's the same game with some new stuff bolted in. I ran the old version since the '80s, and I speak Russian and a little bit of Chinese Japanese and Thai so I can bring the flavor. And actually we're not allowed to talk about Discord either so I'll just PM you.

And I prefer to run sandboxes. Literally I was just thinking about posting today about getting into cyberpunk as a Gamemaster again,  and I had heard about cyberpunk red and I heard about the 2077 but haven't bought it yet because I've been too busy with it outside life away from gaming but I've really been thinking that a cyberpunk game would be pretty cool.

I've only ever played in Cyberpunk 2020 before a few years ago, when Red came out I really wanted to give it a proper shot but those I played with didn't quite like how fast paced and more narrative like it could be in comparison to the gritty every detail matters approach that 2020 had so I was never able to get into it. 

Okay yeah this is the same thing that has been done with the new Twilight 2000 where it's more narrative now, but I like narrative so that's good so I see they have it on drive-thru for 30 I'll see what the R. Talsorian store has. I've run a lot of the old modules but I'm very happy to run a sandbox. Just got to get up to speed on the rules and build the group how many people are you looking for?  5?  I don't usually want to run for more than six unless it's a super narrative game. Back in the day when I was running this I was using the netrunner card game to do hacks with but I left all those things in America so I'm having to rebuild my collection over time. I sold my cyberpunk collection off 6 years ago when I moved here to Thailand to retire. All right so I guess I'll make a Discord.

The ideal player group would be about 5, I tend to prefer 4 myself as it allows for a lot more time for each character to shine and have stories fleshed out, but if necessary 5 can also work but that's my limit of being comfortable around personally. 

Four is fine I have also run one-on-one in the past. Just wondering what your limit is because some people are triggered when there's a whole bunch of people there or whatever.

Remagen is going to play a solo and we're looking for three or maybe more people to play this it's going to be on a Monday or Tuesday night.

I will be the Gamemaster for this. Time to run is going to be Monday or Tuesday evenings in USA depending on play availability... as Ramadan has open availability. I'm not available Sunday nights because I play in a Star Wars EotE paid game. Time slots: 9:00 p.m. to midnight EST, 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. CST  7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Mountain Time (USA) 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PST As I posted above, andI've run the game since the original Friday night firefight back in the 90s and I write cyberpunk short stories and novels so I'm going to bring the flavor. This is going to be a sandbox with a lot of player agency and consequences resulting from that. I'll try and make the most compelling starting situation I can with some lore and corporations. We have a server that we're going to use for voice, that's up and I am going to write the LFG listings later tonight my time.

Sure.  Still setting up the Server. What nights are good for you? I sent a Link to the Roll20 game server, and the Voice Server that Rhymes with Ripcord. .

We're going to be doing this Monday nights USA time we have a solo and a rocker boy we're looking for two more. I'm building the server here and snapping up Battle maps and tokens from the marketplace to support this game.  Music is going to be a combination of streamed Discord cyberpunk music and syrinscape.  Discord for voice, set in default Night City, cyberpunk red, year 2045. Very much this is going to be primarily player agency/ character backstory arcs with a jobs board, for when the crew needs extra Euro bucks. The Red skies of the 4th corporate War have abated leaving brilliant red Sun rises and sunsets on the rare days when the clouds break from the omnipresent rain. We're looking for two more people to start this.

This game is still recruiting. I am the referee.  We have only played one session.  Raz C. had to drop for personal reasons.  This week I have covid (My whole family here does), but I am on the mend. Session 2 is scheduled for 11 April, Monday night.  I have spent about 300 USD on various VTT battlemats, Hardback books from R. Tsalsorian, multiple books from CP 2020 from Drivethru, etc. I have set up a game campaign discord, and I am on the R. Talsorian discord and the Cyberpunk Red App discord, along with the Red APP discord. While I have covid, I have been playing a bit of CP 2077 on Steam, to get new ideas.  Very serious about running this.     Remagen  and Andrew are still on the roster as players. I am currently writing a Cyberpunk Novel Trilogy of my own, to be released this summer, 2022, (Not Set in the World of R. Talsorian), so I am really motivated to continue this game set in Night city 2045, and to keep it running, despite challenges.
