Fun ideas of obstacles

Hello everyone ! I've been DM for a year now and I would like to step up by creating my own one shot. My party loves D&D but get tired of combats very easily and I know they love puzzles and other fun obstacle. Last time I added a maze (with Dynamic Light) in our campaign and they loved it ! For my One Shot, I have this idea of opening a secret door, but for that they need 4 pieces of paper. And for each piece of paper, they need to complete a little challenge.  Would love to hear your ideas for that ! Thank you all in advance and wish you a great day :) P.S : I can't use scripts
This is not really the right forum for this

Hi Pombodi, Arĉjo is correct that the forums are intended for discussing topics directly relevant to Roll20, and not RPGs or rules in general. If you come up with a specific idea and want to ask the best or easiest way to achieve it using Roll20 tools, that would be on topic. If you are just looking for idea generation, the Roll20 Reddit is probably a good place for that.

This appears to be firmly a Roll20 question,  Many answers for Pombodi's thread have already been written in the thread:= Roll20 Tips and Tricks For example one of the Obstacles I've set up is a pile of Tokens.  The suspicious token (the Macguffin, the clue) is hidden under a pile of other innocent looking tokens.  And the Players have the power to Move those tokens, so they can move the Legal Barrels off the top of the pile, revealing the Counterfit barrels underneath.

Gold said: This appears to be firmly a Roll20 question,  How to achieve it in Roll20 is indeed on topic (as I said), but: And for each piece of paper, they need to complete a little challenge.  Would love to hear your ideas for that ! Felt like asking for ideas for challenges. My apologies if I misunderstood the intent.
Hi, thanks everyone for your answers.  My apologies if this thread doesn't belong in this forum, but indeed it's really Roll20 oriented.  I was mostly asking how could we use roll20 tools to make great puzzles for the players. For example myself I used a labyrinth map and the dynamic light to make a maze for my players. They couldn't see 5 ft. ahead of them and they loved this puzzle.  Was just curious if I could apply Roll20 to make other puzzles like this :)
And thanks a lot for the  Roll20 Tips and Tricks  link ! Gonna definitely have a look at this
