N00B Looking to start a weekly d&d group!

any edition i really don't mind. just need someone experienced to show the way! available whenever.
hi, its good to see people starting to play(or at least wanting to start). I think the new 5th edition starter set is the best for you. I'm trying to make a group with my friends but its hard to find a common hole in our schedules.
So.. you still need a DM for this, correct?
Hey there, I am "quite new" to P&P RPG. I played DSA (a german P&P RPG) like 7 years ago for 1 or 2 adventures, but the group disbanded because some people didn't like it :( So I would really love to get back into a RPG. Sadly I didn't find a group on here where I though a noob like me would fit. If the timezone fits somehow, I would like to get in. :)

You/WE could Start with a campaign. so a setting and story adventure that we act in. It's easier this way for new players and the DM if he is a little newer too. In a game I played before there even were PCs set up already, if you wanted to pick a premade (optional). Otherwise, I just joined a game (one time runner) when I am at home I can add the link. Just to get to know DnD and roll20. EDIT: Here is the link to the forumpost

I sort of know D&D but roll20 I'm not that sure on to be honest, more than willing to give anything a go though!
